All I can think about after reading this post is how much I would like to see another Sledstorm.

So many fond memories of that game.

Would love it.

This is from Sony.

"No, we aren't making a PSP Go"

PSP Go comes out.

"No, we aren't making a PS3 Slim"

PS3 Slim comes out.

This means a MotorStorm 3 is coming out.

Rather that than another "7.5/8.0 on most modern rating systems" MotorStorm... it was pretty meh to me, sorry.

First off, Motorstorm was fun. Motorstorm 2 was incredible. Secondly, what is wrong with a game that is an 8.0? Sly has just about the same ratings.

niiiice. I love the first Motorstorm. I loved the 2nd as well but maybe I'm the only one that thought some of the tracks were just too hard. At some parts of tracks there was so much mud and rocks that it seemed unavoidable that you would slide into them unless you come to a complete stop.

If you were sliding in the mud, you were playing the game wrong =) I didn't find the tracks that hard. It would take you a few rounds to learn the routes but after that, I was fine. I hate the bikes and ATVs though. Wish they would ditch them. Plus, the bikes almost always had the fastest route so everybody would pick them during the online races.

The bike is only fastest for a few of the tracks. Just have a look at the time records. Seems like ATV and Big Rig are often the fastest, but they are also the most difficult to drive.

I'd rather have a GT5 release date.

And a new Vigilante 8, but we know that's not happening.

Twisted Metal for PS3 has been all but confirmed. If you have been following game news in the last week David Jaffe pretty much confirmed it. Either it will come out in the second half of the year or we will have a reveal of the game by then for a possible 2011 release.

Considering that Sony's major announced lineup for 2010 will come full circle with the release of God of War III next month (Heavy Rain, MAG, WKC, MLB 10), the second half of the year all the way to the Holiday season is pretty much open with only the motion controller confirmed for that period. So, it is not a stretch to think that there will be several surprises at E3 including Twisted Metal, probably Starhawk, teasers for Motorstorm 3, Resistance 3, and Infamous 2, and 3rd Q confirmed release dates for Gran Turismo and The Last Guardian.

They started work on it after they finished the Motorstorm pacific rift Home space. Shortly after the Wipeout Fury release. (Insider knowledge). Don't know anything about the game just been told that they are working on it, and have been since mid 2009.

It's the same thing like the Starhawk website which now redirects you to the Sony US playstation site.. Of course the game is going to come out but this step doesnt not indicate that the game is anywhere near from done so wouldnt expect a release date anytime soon.. As they've been working on Starhawk since 2009 as well

We're better off hearing from these 2 games in E3 of this year as one of their exclusive 1st party line ups,,

Cool, I just picked up pacific rift used and I'm loving it. I can't believe I passed on it for so long. It's essentially racing cars through Uncharted levels. Great graphics, and sense of speed, and the track designs are phenomenal!

I was really blown away by the track design in the 2nd one. The game went under every body's radar because it came out during the very busy 2008 holiday season.

Who do you think you are fooling Sony? Chuck Norris?

I know you have a Motorstorm 3 behind you back, come on, show me, whats that? You'll reveal it at E3 2010? Hmmm, okay then.

I'm not surprised. Even more, with the engine now in place the game won't take 3+ years to come out. It's just a guess but it will probably be a late 2011 release (Resistance likely occupying the first half of the year).
