Penny Arcade Adventures is one of the best things to happen this generation, the distance between episode two and three has been maddening though. Hope they get to show it at PAX, I've been desperate for more. Here's looking to Death Spank as well, if the writing there is even half as good as in On the Rain-Slick, it's bound to be one of my GOTY contenders - and how could it not be with Ron Gilbert at the helm *again*.

I bought both the original games and can't wait for episode 3. Here's hoping for an announcement!

it'll be $20. Great series, but the price is what always kept me back.

The second game was only $15 so it's not necessarily going to be $20.

As for the news, I REALLY hope it's true. I loved the first two games.

Both episodes 1 and 2 are only $5 each on Steam, so the price for them really isn't a barrier anymore.

I bought them both the weeks they released and felt like I got fair value anyway.

Do you love classic point-and-click adventure games? How about western/computer RPGs? Do you dabble in the classic JRPG as well? How about all of those elements, blended together, with some of the best writing in the 'industry'?

Then you'll love Penny Arcade Adventures, and that's why it is in my most humble of opinions one of the best things to come out in a decade.

Eh, I played the demo and although I’m a huge penny arcade fan, I wasn’t really feeling the humor or the gameplay. The classic RPG style of fighting just felt slow and the jokes just seemed more tongue in cheek than the brazen and often shocking attitude the best of the comic invokes. Maybe it was just a bad demo, but suffice to say, I was bored after the half hour it took me to complete it.

Ah, this is the news I've been hoping to see. We've been a long time between announcements on this one. I was beginning to despair. Now I am starting to feel the first tinglings of vigor.

Should Penny Arcade ever do another comic that pokes fun at a developer for delays, I think I shall have to cough politely and make a few indirect references to this dry spell between episodes 2 and 3.

I thoroughly enjoyed the demo of the first episode, and I am a very big Penny Arcade fan, but these episode are so darn expensive! I really should have gotten them when they were on sale.

I still don't get these episodes. I really don't. For me the humour and story just ruined the experience for me, as itseemed to be aimed at 13-year old kids.

Having said that, the combat system was fairly good I guess? It's a pity they didn't try and make a sort of... intelligent game though?

I hope they bundle all three together and offer a discount.
