The troupe's latest contribution posits that Heavy Rain is so sad, you won't even crack a smile if you go to Disneyland after playing it. Certainly, one must keep in mind that this is simply one man's experience, but it doesn't necessarily rule out Heavy Rain as a tear-inducing descent into a bottomless well of sadness. Figure out the case of The Crying Amusement Park Attendee for yourself by watching the video past the break.
Mega64: Heavy Rain makes you cry (a lot)

Whether it's through its potent pixel combinations or the fact that the game regularly gives you purple nurples (not really ... we hope), Heavy Rain is bound to make you cry. Don't believe us? Well, would you believe the talented and scholarly chaps at Mega64? Yeah, we thought so!

i had the pleasure of meeting them back before they were the super internet sensation because they shopped at a store i worked at. Their stuff was soooooo good back then, nothing will ever beat the RE4 merchant one, a friend was there and saw the whole thing it was great.

Why is this the automatic response to every one of their videos? The videos they film where they re-enact video games, like the RE4 or Assassin's Creed skit, are from the actual show "Mega64," and serve as part of each episode.
You can't expect their IGN videos, let alone their other video game skits, to be the same as the RE4 skit. If you want more "IRL movies," either go out and buy their DVD's so you can see the ones that haven't been posted, or wait until they start uploading the video game parodies from their upcoming third season.
With that being said, good deo.

I think their sketches are awesome, and they're just funny guys. The old videos were just dressing up and freaking the public out a bit, less skill involved and gets boring quickly. That said, I also liked their old stuff, but I don't want them to go back to it.

Not unless you count what happens in the first minute or so of the game a spoiler.

I've been following this game for a while and it seems pretty interesting to me.
I bought the Nintendo Wii at launch, and, to date, it's the only current gen console I own (unless you can count the PS2 or DS Phat as "current gen"--no? :( )
I've been on the fence, trying to decide between Xbox 360 and PS3. Is this game worth buying a PS3 for?

In my opinion, yes, it was totally worth it. I was actually taking notes at the beginning because I was gonna write a review but I ended up getting so caught in the game that I completely forgot about it.

I misread your comment. I thought you meant buying this game for your PS3 that you already own... I don't think any one game is worth buying a whole console for. But there are plenty of other PS3 games out there, not just one game...

Vote me down if you like, but I really hate this Mega64 group. I'm willing to admit I don't know much about their old works, but everything I've seen from them within the past year I've known about them has been idiotic.

A: I'm aware of that, but being who I am I felt the need to say what I thought.
B: You never know, occasionally a reasonable person may come along and discuss it constructively.
C: Don't call me a kid, odds are I'm a good bit older than you, and the majority of people on this blog, for better or worse -_

Perhaps, but really I didn't tell anyone which way to vote, I merely made a general assumption that it might, also I wanted to clarify that I was aware that some may not like what I said, knowing that all to often when I don't I see stupid comments saying "you know your going to get down voted don't you" etc... Things of that nature. So I suppose the lesson is, to avoid one stupid comment you only get another, meaning that in the end, you can't criticize anything without idiots in large numbers taking offense to your own opinion, and then occasionally leaving stupid remarks.

I'm curious, how am I using big words? Everything I have said so far is something a elementary school student could understand. I suppose I'll just take that as a compliment then, although if I speak as if I were well educated I can't fathom what you consider a poor speaker. Just because every word doesn't turn s into z or use stupid crap like lol all the time doesn't mean I'm using big words... I think it puts you into question more. In all honesty I haven't dealt with anyone in a good four years that talked or comprehended anything below what I do.
Also why should I apologize? By simply saying what I thought I have absolutely no reason to do so, aware of the possible out come, I was looking for the slight chance that someone could elaborate or explain this Mega64 group more, and I frequently do have replies from at least two or three.
Also, it's one thing to just walk away, that is reasonable and I fully intend, but so long as asinine comments like that stop popping up I'll continue.

Good thing there are wise old sages telling people how to behave on forums.
This series of replies is ridiculous. You can't have a battle of wits if you're both unarmed.

Why are you even defending yourself? It's the goddamn internet; nobody actually cares about anyone else, because it's all anonymous. I don't care if you're actually witless, or whether or not I outwit you with some snappy zinger, any more than I care about South African politics (ie. not at all), I just like to give the uptight ones like yourself a good ribbing.
So now you've been ribbed.

Yeah I am playing it and it is a little touching.
If you are playing the game or not wanting to know the killer's identity, stay away from Youtube, and Kotaku, people have been creating profiles and saying the answer by their screen name or in a random post in any article.
Sadly this got spoiled for me if it is true. So im just giving a warning to follow people on here about it. Be careful.

Real, live, grope-able versions of all my favorite Disney Princesses? Disney World Wins
But in all seriousness I'd say Disney World is good for the nostalgia of it all (and for being extremely family-oriented), but Universal definitely has better attractions.
