It's that time of year when a lot of my LIVE friends start getting excited about baseball games, it's almost funny how reluctantly they are clinging to MLB2K after almost four years of mediocrity. I only ever hear bad things about it from them. A few of them actually bought PS3s for the sole purpose of playing The Show, and the rest talk about doing just that.

I personally don't care either way, I'm just hoping the RBI Baseball XBLA game manages to actually release. The Show is amazing at what it does, but I'm not big into sim gameplay and the controls. I'd just rather keep playing World Series Baseball II on Saturn.

I meant compared to 2K9's analog swing and pitch mechanics. It's fresh and way more fun than pressing a button.

Of course it's coming from someone with that name. Odds are they either don't own a PS3 to begin with, are lying about having purchased MLB The Show, or are so desperate to hate on Sony that they are willing to crap on anything that is good about it so they feel better about their childish fanboyism (you know, because the other two giant corporations CARE about him/her).

They had some chances back when Visual Concepts made them.

Sony is just saving your ps3 the shame of actually running the code for this shit.

Your right. If you read the new game informer, it actually says that the new developer only had a small window of time to make it. I too hated 2k9 with a passion. This one seems so much better so far. :)
