wow it actually looks pretty good this year, the 2K baseball games have been terrible looking in the last few years especially compared to The Show series.

Frankly, they just need to stop putting the 2k in the title... 2K10... it's not like they are saving any keystrokes/ad-space... 2K is so 10 years ago :P meh... guess it's better than 2KX... hmmm... maybe not!

This looks great, but I'm in the market for a cheap (read: older) MLB game. Sim preferred over arcade baseball. What was the best from last year?

Well I think pretty much any critic said that MLB The Show was the best sports game last year, some even said the best ever made. So yea, that would be the one to recommend if you got a PS3.

If you want a SIM baseball experience you can do no better than last years version of MLB The Show. I'm a hardcore sports fan and the game was a little daunting with all of its content, statistical categories, trends, research, player development and on and on and on ... You feel like an actual GM, Owner, Manager and Player. It's insane how in depth and realistic the game plays. I used to like 2K better for baseball but I switched to the Show last year and was blown away. I'll still give 2K a shot because I love the brand but for a cheaper baseball experience it's The Show all the way.

Just LOOK at the energy coming from that crowd! It's ALMOST like they care when a ball comes flying at them...

When you are hitting, I hate how the pitch is identified in the box for the strike zone. It COMPLETELY hinders your ability to see the ball AND is distracting. Another FAIL brought to you by 2K Sports.

Is that Steve Phillips on commentary? Did they pay him in slutty trashy interns?

Using the sticks to pitch and hit is quite annoying. Hopefully they understand that no one wants that.

All baseball games should use the analog stick for pitching. It's the best way to mimic pitching mechanics and make every pitch unique. Otherwise your starter just fires 95 MPH fastballs where you aim every pitch until he tires.

Commentary is good up to around the 6:30 mark.

A routine double play is a candidate for play of the week, huh?, and then Kruk saying the Mets are back in the dugout ready to hit while there's still a man on third?

I only own a 360 and I can say without a doubt that The Show is the only Baseball game out there worth any money. 2K has been a Home Run Derby fest for the last 5 years. And, 2K looks like garbage when compared to The Show. The graphics and presentation of The Show are just down right amazing in comparison

How realistic is it? Do the Mets screw everything up all the time?
