Absolutely. I've been hoping that Joystiq would do something similar to this for some time now.

I agree. It is pretty cool. I would love to make my own game as well, and reading about these guys gets me excited to get started on my own game some day.

This is pretty cool. I'm in college right now and a couple of friends and I are going create some games on XNA too like Arkedo and Morsel, when we are done with it I hope we can get featured on Joystiq one day! :D

"and traverse the unique monochromic worlds trying to restore the vibrant colors back to the environment. We tried to make everything about Kaleidoscope subtle and charming. For example the music progresses dynamically along with the amount of color you have restored to the world, the color pigments you collect fuel your various abilities in addition to coloring the world, and you don't kill the enemies in the game, you save them from the monochromic plague, turning them friendly."

.... Flower? Is that you?

ah you guys are no fun downvoting the fact that his description of his game perfectly matched Flower's gameplay. I mean... there can only be *so* many indie games with the exact same plot.

There's plenty of triple A titles that have the exact same plot too, sometimes no plot at all, and they make millions.

Great article. I love hearing about punchy folks who take a risk and go out and do something. Well done, Morsel. I look forward to playing your game(s)
