Watch Heavy Rain's European TV ad

PlayStation Blog has dropped the European advertisement for Heavy Rain. The ad, which you can watch after the break, places a heavy emphasis (geddit?) on the various choices that players make throughout the game. Specifically, it asks players to "start a journey that changes with every single decision." The PS Blog post notes that different versions of the ad will be airing in several countries over the next few weeks, so be sure to keep an eye out for it.

If there's any justice in the universe, the US version will feature Kevin Butler.

It's ok, but just barely.

The narration and pacing are way too fast for a game of this gravity. It sounded rushed and the narrator's voice didn't really fit.

Some of the graphical style of the commercial was out of place, too. Luckily I'm going to get this game anyway here in the states, because that commercial would not make me want to buy it.

Kind of like the voice acting in the game... Thats not to say its a bad game, but the voice acting still does suck, unfortunately......

I would prefer a nice long trailer, similar to what you might see at the cinema, but this is still good marketing. Sony and PS3 devs should stick to the simple. Tell them what your product is and why it's special.

Sadly, that's only a recent innovation for PS3 marketing. Every time I have new friends over they are surprised that Pandora.com is playing on my PS3 and that it has motion sensors when we play HVB. They should already know about that functionality.

The voice acting doesn't suck, but it is a little...off.

I like it. It's refreshing from the one I see everyday. But I think that if I had to see this one everyday, it'd probably hate it too.

Anyway, the game looks good!

It is totally awesome that Heavy Rain released today in the US, and it just so happens to be raining in my area.

I live in the city it was inspired by...and it's raining. HIGH FIVE!

i really like it actually. really hammers home the main hook of the game. still cant wait for ad featuring kevin butler though lol.
