That said, even if you're a strident console-only gamer, the above walkthrough also gives us our first eyes-on with "Valparaiso" -- a multiplayer map apparently set in the Chiléan city. Here's a shocker: it looks just as impressive as everything else we've seen from the game thus far (even more so, graphically speaking, as it's running on a presumably tricked out PC). Bad Company 2 arrives on your console of choice (minus the Wii) in early March.

I thought it was well known this game was made for consoles.
Battlefield 3 is a PC exclusive. It will be developed for the BF2 veterans in mind. They are not going to ruin it.

I've been on the fence after enjoying (way too much) the XBOX demo due to budget constraints, but I think this video may have sold a copy for them. All my XBOX UI concerns seem 100% put to rest.
Now the hard part of convincing myself to spend $50 on a game...

This or Heavy Rain...
Wait a minute. I rented Heavy Rain and it was a short, poorly acted-out and poor controlled game...
Guess I'll go with Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Like Battlefield 2 before it, because you have to use an account tied to your profile and account key and play on ranked servers to gain progress its alot harder to pirate which is great.
The setup is more similar to an MMO than that of a traditional Online FPS.

If you want to keep MW2, you can pre-order BC2 on Amazon and get a $20 credit toward your next video game purchase.

Who was actually going to buy a console version over the PC version (if you have a decent enough PC) anyway?
Like most if not all FPS games; they are suited to PC over consoles. Consoles are great to just pick up and play, easily and quickly. But if you're really getting into a game and can afford a good PC then the PC can offer alot more if the game supports it.
Likewise with Battlefield 3 when it comes out, it will be better for the PC than the console with larger maps, player limits (possible 64vs64?) and tighter control. Its not to say that console FPS suck, but in general if you want to be at your best, you'll be playing on the PC.

I wouldn't trade it in before the new map packs come out for MW2. Why not trade in a bad game instead, or just own both? It's not that hard to get $60... collect cans or shovel some snow... Lot's of snow storms in the US to cash in on!!!!!
You can own both games and enjoy both, your console (or PC) won't explode or anything.
