Cave Story out on WiiWare March 22

Finally.

Update: Developer Nicalis has confirmed the release date and noted that the extra modes previously announced as DLC -- Boss Rush and Sanctuary Time Attack -- are now included with the initial download, "so there's no need for additional downloads or purchases." Nice!

I just expected some info besides "Hey look this game is out". Maybe tell me a little about what the game is about

Maybe, if you had either A) paid attention to gaming in the past year and a half while this wiiware title has been in development B) Paid attention to indie gaming in the past 6 years since the PC version's release, and/or C) Have seen the large amount of anxiousness among fans about this game, considering it was suppose to be out before the end of 2008, you wouldn't be asking stupid questions.

To be honest, it does look more detailed then the PC version it's based off of.

You know a game is good if you're excited to buy a copy after you've been playing it for free for years on another platform.

I think I came.

Considering that the original PC release was a labor of love by ONE PERSON, I think it looks pretty spectacular. Very excited to see the graphical update in motion.

Mostly glad that this didn't just become vaporware.

Wait, so they totally ditched having any DLC at all for the game?

I guess if all they were doing was putting in some new game modes then it's no biggie.

Actualy it had a graphical inprvement ... the original pc version (wich is included in this release in a monkey island hd way) was based on 8bit graphics and music... this evolved to 16 bit graphics and music xD

I think I gave myself a concussion from face palming so hard. Haha.

I am incredibly happy right now.
