The reason we decided to drop the Mohr monologue after the break was because we're guessing there will be "edits" for TV, including some inside jokes about Richard Garriott and Bobby Kotick (in particular, the 6:45 mark during the second clip). We're not sure if the general television audience will "get it," but we trust that you all will.
DICE awards now on IFC.com, check out the Jay Mohr monologue here

If you missed the live stream of the 13th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards (i.e., the DICE awards), and don't want to wait for the "broadcast premiere" this Friday, the whole thing is available now in chunks on IFC.com. The first two clips cover Jay Mohr's (Gary Unmarried, Action, Go, Mr. Nikki Cox) 40-minute monologue, while the rest is the awards ceremony -- and, well, the "Indiana Jones sequel" Mohr wanted swept those.

I'm sure he doesn't care about what fat nerds think about him.

I'm pretty sure Mohr is doing pretty well. Any guy who gets to bang Nikki Cox is alright in my book. Even Bobcat Goldthwait.

I would like to see this, but I fear I'd spent most of my time starting at Jay "Mohr's forehead.

I made it through the whole thing. While some of the jokes were flat, it wasn't terrible for me at least. Ironically, the crowd laughed the hardest at dick jokes, to which he fittingly responded "I guess we've found the level for the audience." It must be hard doing these "corporate" MC gigs, since you've got a pretty limited set of material to work with. I guess he could've just dredged the webcomic circuit for jokes, but that would've been pretty lame.

I want to like Jay Mohr but this was not his best work. After the first five minutes (stereotypes about Asians, blacks, and females... still?), I actually liked this commentary on gaming. Really don't think the language or f-bombs are a problem though.

He actually had some funny jokes. The best (and weirdest) one was the Tiger incident/Roy Horn joke, for me at least.
