@captainprotonx: Of course they want money. Nowhere in theblackman357's argument does he say otherwise.

Nintendo really likes to charge $200 for repackaged last-gen hardware :\

Never owned a DS or DSi. I'm thinking this will be the one I buy though. I like the idea of a bigger screen and it should fit in my bear paw sized hands nicer :)

Burgundy and Bronze? They really are trying to make sure this only appeals to the senior crowd then.

I'm still on my Electric Blue Phat, but I've been planning on getting the LL. Hope it comes out in some other colours by year's end.

$190? That's so much cheaper than it is overseas. I paid ~$230 for a mocha brown DSi LL in Hong Kong.

The price tag is a bit steep, but I may shell out for one of these, but I want to see how it feels in my hands first. I had a DS Lite awhile back, and I loved it, but playing some games for an extended period really hurt my hands (Metroid Prime Hunters especially). I'm hoping the larger size might help this a bit.

it's good, but it seems to me that the PSP is downloading into her brain directly...maybe it's whispering sweet digital downloads into her brain......

Wait... Burgandy and bronze? WTF? I was going to buy one until I read that. No black, silver, or white?

WTF?

Then again, nintendo is not promoting the LL as the next handheld killer, nor the awesome of the milennium.

This will be a nice improvement over the DSi, and the $190 price tag is reasonable. But personally, I'm saving up for the iPad at $499. I like the variety and quality and price of app store games.

I'm just saying the original DS was a lot more durable than the DS Lite and DSi.

See, Sony? 190 bucks. You might want to take a god-damned hint.

I want to thank Nintendo and Sony. For once, I have absolutely no envy for the newest revisions of the portables. DSLite and PSP2000 will continue to work just great.

$190 for 2004 tech...that really takes the absurdity cake.
