If you missed your first chance to grab Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter on Steam at a discounted rate, then know that the game is once again on sale from now through March 2. The first episode will set you back a mere $7.50 -- 50 percent off the normal asking price -- leaving vital room in the coffers to snatch up extra rocket and shotgun ammo for the inevitable onslaught.
Trust us, when you've got a pack of wild, headless (yet, somehow, screaming) suicide dudes running toward you, you're going to be glad you spent those extra greenbacks at Uncle Buck's Gun Emporium beforehand. Believe it!

I don't know how to stress this enough. $7.50? It's worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY. Go and pick this up right now, I guarantee you will not regret it.

I'll save that 7.50 for something less repetitive.

The game isn't meant to be taken seriously. It's just some good ol' mindless run-and-gun.

Serious Sam always came off as a Duke-Nukem wannabe. This game does nothing to disprove that. About the only thing going for SSHD is it's co-op gameplay.

more like Serious Sam became what Duke started. Duke has been dead for a decade

I told myself I wouldn't buy any games until I finished my backlog. I don't know how long I can keep this up.
