Just bought it. I played Serious Sam nearly 9 years ago, back when the first game was released. I loved it back then, hopefully it's just as awesome now.

Thanks for the heads up, Joystiq.

It's in HD but only 1079p; deal-breaker?

I don't know how to stress this enough. $7.50? It's worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY. Go and pick this up right now, I guarantee you will not regret it.

*wanders off to go play a level or two*

I'll save that 7.50 for something less repetitive.

The game isn't meant to be taken seriously. It's just some good ol' mindless run-and-gun.

Serious Sam always came off as a Duke-Nukem wannabe. This game does nothing to disprove that. About the only thing going for SSHD is it's co-op gameplay.

more like Serious Sam became what Duke started. Duke has been dead for a decade

I told myself I wouldn't buy any games until I finished my backlog. I don't know how long I can keep this up.

Well, by the time you finish the Backlog, the Frontlog (?) will be too big to handle.
