At least someone's going after them for being such a crap game company.

Southpeak hasn't released 1 decent game and needs to dry up and blow away so another company can come in and make more mediocre shovelware (it's all about jobs right?).

Kind of gives you a window into why so many games are rushed out the door. If you don't meet the deadline, your publisher will sue you into oblivion.

The Gamasutra rendition of this news has some interesting other details, namely that SouthPeak seems to use pretty shady techniques to try to avoid paying money to anyone, including contractors for Gamecock, which it bought. The former CEO of Gamecock was particularly outspoken about SouthPeak's underhandedness (the sale of Gamecock to SouthPeak was an emergency thing, done to get an influx of cash, rather than any sort of "we'd work great together" synergy thing).
