New Super Mario Bros was also PAL released first, same with Mario Strikers Charged Football.

Why can't Nintendo pull off (almost) simultaneous worldwide releases like all other major publishers? It's not as bad as it used to be (in the GameCube days we had to wait 4 months for Metroid Prime and 2 years for Animal Crossing!) but it's still not good enough.

Final Fantasy XIII is coming out simultaneously in US and Europe as are most major releases these days. Even Konami, who had a track record of releasing all MGS games here at least 4 months after the US, got a grip and released MGS4 simultaneously. Oh well, Nintendo isn't exactly known for keeping up with the times anyway.

The early release for Sin and Pubishment is probably to make up for the lack of Metroid. If I remember correctly, we had to wait 2 months for Metroid Prime 3. :S

It is strange that almost every game on the Xbox 360/PS3 comes out within a week of being released in the US but Nintendo hardly ever make that happen. It's more confusing than anything - We got Mario Kart Wii early and Smash Bros. Brawl late - but why?

GRRRR. Sin & Punishment right near SMG2? Stop making me spend $100 dollars a month on your games, Nintendo.

Think Sin and Punishment 2 has priority on this one though. What can I say, I'm a Treasure fanboy.
