We're going to need you to find some way to weasel out of that lunch date you have planned for tomorrow. See, the $12.49 you were planning on spending on that cucumber and cream cheese panini with Italian cream soda? It's about to go towards a much more virtuous cause: Purchasing Batman: Arkham Asylum through Games For Windows' Games on Demand platform, which until March 1, will only cost you $12.49.
It may not be as delicious as the aforementioned sandwich, but it will take you longer to finish. Unless you're the world's slowest eater. Or the world's fastest game-tape solver. Or if it's the world's biggest panini.

I agree on it being my GOTY too. Amazingly done. Maybe the nostalgia helped. Either way no one should pass this deal up if they haven't played it.

Seriously. For that price if you don't own it or (especially) if you pirated it - BUY IT.

Hmmm I already own it and got the platinum on PS3.
But 12.49 is a great deal for the PC version especially since it does include achievements. Think i'll pick it up.

Fantastic deal!
Full gamepad support if you're partial to the 360 controller. I found that this game doesn't control as well with KBaM, but others disagree.

What does it matter? This is a GFWL game anyway, no matter where you buy it. It requires GFWL on the computer, just like games like Fallout 3 or Dawn of War 2 do.
I like Steam, but don't see a ton of benefit in this case for Steam vs GFWL as a vendor.

Definitely a nice perk of having a Gaming PC.. you're apt to have sick deals like these through a direct download service, much sooner than you ever would if you're buying a physical game for a console.

I tried to buy it through GfW, but it shows up at the full 49.99 price still.

Definitely picking it up. Already own it for the 360 but for that price it's worth having it on my laptop. Great game.

I just finished this game today on PC! Really enjoyed it the whole athmosphere really made me get into thinking that I was batman! Although some parts of it really got in the way of my enjoyment. Like the boss battles, bar the scarecrow battles they were all pretty bad. I would of appreciated some more variation in the combo's and maybe a few more enemy types. Lets hope they improve upon the faults in the sequel to truly make the best batman game ever!:)

Only if it's a real, authentic panini, and not just a 'grilled sandwich' trying to pass itself off as a panini, as happens so often these days.

Don't make me laugh. Batman GOTY? Nope, that goes to Uncharted 2. Batman wasn't even on the same level as Uncharted.

I was thinking of buying it today. Thankfully Joystiq saved the day (and 7 bucks).

Still not showing as 12.49 on the GfWL Client. Gotta love they say its down from 59.99 but the client distinctively shows it at 49.99, but I guess they go by MSRP... the cheats. Still a great deal was hoping to already be killing me some grunts this morning, but I guess I'll have to wait on Microsoft to update their client... as usual

If you have an nvidia graphics card, B:AA on pc also has the advantage of full physx support over consoles.
Generally, I haven't been impressed with the improvements of current gen pc hardware over consoles, but B:AA showed me what we can expect from next gen consoles in terms of physics. Seriously, thousands of bricks all spinning in a vortex at once around a massive boss? The future of gaming looks bright indeed . . .

I'm only running a GTS 250 (the 1 gig version), but I had a left over 8600 that I threw in for physx. I ran the game without hiccups using the moderate physx settings and fairly aggressive graphics. For the "full-blown" experience you'd probably be better off with something like an 8800GT like you're looking at.
