Super Street Fighter IV pre-order bonuses include costumes for your fighters, your phone, and yourself

Capcom is sweetening the deal for Super Street Fighter IV in both the US and Europe with some ridiculous pre-order bonuses. In the US, a timed exclusive download pack will be available from Amazon and Best Buy, featuring "Super Classic Costumes" for Dhalsim, Fei Long, Blanka, Gen, and Guile. Fei Long has a Kato (of The Green Hornet fame) costume! Blanka has a Dan costume! Insanity! Pre-ordering from GameStop will get you a set of ... thumb covers with Street Fighter characters on them. For thumb wrestling. The game will be out April 27 in North America.

In Europe, where Super Street Fighter IV will be released on April 30, the choice is even tougher. Capcom has yet to reveal which retailers offer which bonuses, but the choice of items is between the Super Classic Costumes pack, some iPhone covers bearing World Warriors' faces, or t-shirts that look like Street Fighter costumes. Awesome preorder bonuses! iPhone cases are ridiculous but show who the true fans are. I love SF so much I'm willing to be embarassed every time I use my phone in public. Too bad it's Europe only.

I am really becoming jealous of Europe's pre-orders. First the awesome Bayonetta and Final Fantasy pre-orders. Now this. That doesn't even cover the rest of the awesome things they get. I am happy for Europe but come on. Do they think us Americans are happy with such trivial things when other places get such great bonuses?

Oh well, still going to buy it anyway =(

I'm going to get a Ryu iPhone skin and yell HADOKEN everytime I answer my phone.

And better yet, have a street fighter 4 ring tone! One that's appropriate to the cover of the phone of course. Maybe Ryu's theme or sound effects. That would be awesome.

Yeah Gamestop's preorder bonus seems lame. I mean thumb warmers for a preorder bonus? Could of done better like a t-shirt something that Europe has that makes us Americans jealous.

That GameStop preorder bonus is bullshit. Who the hell thought that up? I already preordered SSFIV at my friend's store. At the very least, I hope I can buy those costumes as DLC.

The DLC will probably be released on PSN anyway, so what's the point?

Get it before its released on PSN for everyone else. Thats why I am preordering from Amazon already got my order with plus $36 is their price.

You get the costume pack for free? Well, I think Capcom is going to charge for the new costumes just as the ones for SFIV, so you could save $5 or so.

I was very frustrated with the online for SFIV and cashed it in. These pre-order bonuses, along with the overall additions being made in SSFIV make it really hard to not buy this game!

I would love to see all this exclusive pre-order crap just DIE! I buy all of my games from Amazon... Amazon... not Lamestop.

On a side note: Any word on whether the costumes from the original SFIV will work with SSFIV? It would be mighty crappy if they don't.
