You love explosions, right? You're a fan of head thrashing music, are you? Can't get enough of text flying at your face, you say? Well hold on to your underwear because the television spot for EA's upcoming Battlefield: Bad Company 2 includes all of those things and more.
Developed by DICE and coming soon to the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 hits stores March 2 and will probably feature more explosions and generic rock music. Hopefully the lines of accolades will be omitted during gameplay -- being obscured like that would ravage our kill/death ratios.

Meh. It isn't hard to improve on the garbage of MW2. Just shows you how inferior Bad Company 2 is to MAG.
MAG has 256 players, a real battlefield. Bad Company 2 has 32 players which is hardly a battle at all.

I don't think "Savagely rapes Modern Warfare and leaves it for dead" would have worked on network TV.

The problem with that is you never actually see 256 players, and it never really feels like an epic battle. You still feel like you're in a normal room with only a couple of dozen other players. At least, that's the feeling I get from it. Despite more players, it's never had that epic feeling that Bad Company 2 has most of the time.

I'm a fanboy now because I think that a game that doesn't a better job of making you feel like you are in a Battlefield is better than Battlefield?

MAG is nothing more than a below average multiplayer FPS , just with a shit load of people.

You are wrong about MAG. You most certainly do see/play with everyone on the battlefield. At first the map is split because of the different objectives but once everyone starts falling back to the one remaining objective... it is epic chaos.
Now with that said, my allegiance is to Battlefied and I CAN'T WAIT till Tuesday!

I have to second the endorsements of MAG. The game is anything but a "below average FPS" and there is a lot of chaos going on at all times. The game is freaking amazing and one of the most addicting FPS experiences I've ever played. With that said, I'm still super pumped for BFBC2 ... they can both co-exist in my heart. Still, with the map size of BF BC2 it would be nice to have more players. I think both are more fun to play online than MW2, that game left a bitter taste in my mouth. Like I said both MAG & BFBC2 are amazing multiplayer experiences.

I find it amusing that Joystiq has to age gate a video that's made for regular TV.

The multiplayer in the first game was kind of weak, but the campaign was one of my favorite gaming experiences ever. After playing the multiplayer demo, I am seriously more excited for this game than I have been for any game in a long time. And I'm what you might call a huge Halo fanboy.

The multiplayer was anything but weak in BFBC. To each his own but that is just an asinine statement right there.
