In your feeble attempt to be funny, you forgot to read the article. Itagaki does not work for Tecmo anymore so it couldn't possibly be another Dead or Alive game.

I don't obtain every knowledge of every game company and their subsidiaries. I also wasn't aware that Team Ninja was a subsidiary of Tecmo. So is it really necessary to be a douche?

Maybe all that "saving the world" junk has finally gotten to you.

Maybe. Though I am willing to admit my mistakes. Had you been more kind about your words neither of us would have an issue. I am not the type to blow up on you for calling me out on a mistake. Though I apologize for calling you a douche. I simply try to find an area of respect with other people.

Yes. My fiance happens to be a lover of anime and video games as well. What is the point of your comment?

How do you come up with so much funny material? It's hard to be funny on the internet and yet you always seem to nail it. In case you were wondering ... the answer is YES I am hitting on you.

Itagaki is so full of himself it's not even funny. However, I have to say I like his swagger and more importantly his games.

He is obviously an ultra-assh0le. But man, his games have made headlines, and he is "Rock and Roll".

Good for him.

When did it become funny to make fun of excellent game designers who had the misfortune of being born with a skin condition?

I must have missed the memo.

Oh cmon. It's perfectly acceptable to make fun of anyone else on this site, especially for such an asshat like Itagaki. People are constantly making fun of Gabe Newell and I do recall people in here comparing Uncharted 2's designer with a spitter from Left 4 dead.

I don't hold him to such high levels as everyone seems to. I don't consider unbalanced games with poor feature implementations to be such a good thing. If The Sigma series proved anything is that if you take him out of the equation the games can be a lot better.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma was worse than Ninja Gaiden Black. Rachel was a chore to play as and some of the new enemy types (the guys on motorcycles) were awful.

Sigma 2 may or may not be better, I don't know, but Itagaki wasn't given enough time to finish the original version.

"If The Sigma series proved anything is that if you take him out of the equation the games can be a lot better."

I have to wonder, do you understand the paradox with a lot of time travel movies, and, therefore, with your own statement?

Here's the thing, the Sigma games do not prove that taking Itagaki out of the equation can improve the games. If anything, it proves that the games have room for improvement (and that's if you prefered the Sigma series to the originals). But to take Itagaki out of the equation means those Sigma games wouldn't really be there in the sense that they are now. The only time you can say the Ninja Gaiden games are better with Itagaki out of the equation is when Team Ninja and Tecmo releases the next game in the series, and it turns out better.

I guess this can count as something people still care about. Since the breakup Itagaki hasn't revealed anything and Tecmo/Team Ninja is working with Nintendo
