Yes, yes, yes it is! Brings back memories of the old Splinter Cell, when my brother and I would spend fantastic nights playing splitscreen co op. On, April 13, I will relive those memories. What good times, those where.

If it's anything like every other Splinter Cell in existence it will come to the Sony console eventually.

Chaos Theory was amazing. One of my favorite games, and I'd still recommend you check it out. The gameplay holds up great, and even the graphics hold up pretty well on Xbox and PC. Double Agent, eh, not so much. Just seemed to be a big disappointment overall, and didn't offer anything great to the series. Also, strangely, the next-gen versions lacked the co-op mode featured in other versions. I picked it up in anticipation of Conviction a couple months back to play through it again and ended up returning it a couple days later. Conviction looks awesome, though. Day 1 purchase for me based on what I've seen and heard so far.

The next Rebel FM Game Club will be Chaos Theory (it's a podcast) you can get it at games on demand on the 360 for 1200 pts. Good buy if you never played it.

Chaos Theory has the best stealth gameplay ever, exclamation point! If you can, definitely go for the Xbox version (I can't comment on the PC version, but if its the same or better, go for it I guess if it's your best option), it still looks really good today and it still puts games to shame this generation with its perfect implementation of 5.1 surround and has a wicked Amon Tobin soundtrack to boot. It sucks you'll not be able to play the multiplayer anymore that the original Xbox LIVE service is ending, because it was truly one of the best multiplayer games ever designed for both co-op and adversarial, but the single player game is more than worthy of any asking price. So damn addicting trying to 100% a level, and oh so rewarding when you finally do.

Don't really have anything nice to say on Double Agent unfortunately. It looks pretty nice, and it's far from being a bad game, but unless you truly care about catching up on the story, it's entirely skippable. They nerfed the multiplayer too on the 360 and PS3 versions, but it's still fun to play for the most part (and last I checked, was pretty active). Multiplayer on the original Xbox version was different, and a lot more fun, but with LIVE shutting down for it again, its not worth it (especially considering the game looks significantly WORSE than Chaos Theory).

One thing I will admit though, is Double Agent took the story in a weird way. And spend literally 10 seconds on something that, well, I'd say was pretty significant; even (from what I've seen) in Conviction. Personally, I didn't care for Pandora Tomorrow too much, but like everyone else says, Chaos Theory is the best of the series, hands down. Come to think of it, I'mma go try to sneak into that War room now...

Looks so good but I'm still sick over the fact that they are removing mercs v spies.

Wait, there's going to be no Spy vs. Mercs? This game is still badass but seriously Ubisoft wtf? DLC please or something to support this, Co-op is great and all but does not have the same replay value as "true" Multiplayer does.

Some dude at Ubisoft (bigwig, can't remember who though I'm sure the Joystiq elite will enlighten) said there is no plans for spies v mercs either on the disk or as DLC at a later date.

Kind of sucks the Infiltration mode is mentioned as being pre-order only... or does the mention of a Uplay account indicate it'll be DLC as well?

best buy and gamestop had pre-order boxes saying 2.23.10 and they hadn't changed it since they got those boxes in november, i thought the game was released simultaneously with heavy rain and i was very upset by the delay. i want splinter cell conviction now :'[
