If you've been putting off that trip to Hell for financial reasons, it looks like Target might lend you a hand next week. Starting this Sunday, Dante's Inferno will be on sale for only $39.99, a full $20 off the normal retail price. Not a bad deal for a game that has thus far drawn passable reviews.
The store is also knocking ten bucks off the the price of NBA 2K10, making it a cool $29.99. Just be warned, while the price is right, you might be waiting a while before you can play a proper game online. Oh, you can also snag a free Ho-Oh or Lugia Pokémon if you pre-order either Pokemon SoulSilver or Pokemon HeartGold. We suggest you do that and pick up Dante's Inferno. It'll be really confusing to the cashier.

Don't you mean better games? Plural? Because it includes 2 games?

It needs a lower price point to compete with God of War Collection and God of War III.

It's just like GOW 3, they both put their pants on one leg at a time. The only difference is that after GOW 3 puts its pants on it makes gold records.

Wait, wouldn't "Reaper of Prices" make more sense as a caption?
...
...ah, forget it. I care about absolutely nothing covered in this article.

You have to admit the phrasing is a little misleading given the man in question's reputation for more destructive tendencies.

I think you could preorder SoulSilver and receive a Ho-oh if it's a code they hand out.
I think the code is for the Diamond/Pearl/Platinum copies of the game. You could trade one in to catch another Legendary in HeartGold/SoulSilver or something like that. It is really confusing.

I'm so sick of seeing comparisons of this game to God of War. I don't care how similar or not it may be or if it's a rip-off/plays identically, I love this game and I had a blast playing it and plan on replaying it again soon. Divine Armor + Sins of The Father at the end = win!

I've noticed something about Dante's Inferno. The game has atmosphere unlike any other game I've ever played.
Point:
I was never worried about going to Hell. Then these jerkasses started repeating the same 3 sentences over and over and over. At first it was annoying. Eventually it became torturous. It scared me so bad I go to youth group each week.

I'm still going to hold out a little longer. I have a feeling this will see a price cut again after GOW3 releases.

Sorry to rain on your parade GOW sheep, but Dante's Inferno is currently a top selling game on Gamestop.com. Your loss if you don't give the game a chance. And yes, there is a big chance for a sequel or two as we need to explore the levels of purgatory and heaven.
After GOW 3 there really isn't anything left to explore or do.

$40 is reasonable. It might be hard to find though if there's not enough stock.
