It would be cool enough to see a ten-minute-long video showing a man carving an intricate statue of BioShock 2's Big Daddy out of a tree using a chainsaw. That coolness factor is multiplied by ten when the person doing the carving is dressed up like known overnight camp murderer, Jason Voorhees. A video like that would finally prove that the prolific butcher has a sensitive side, capable of creating lovely, intricate works of art with his manslaughter instruments.
Such a video exists, dear friends, and is posted after the jump. You should check it out, because, man, tree carving is surprisingly hypnotic.

Damn, Camp Crystal Lake must have some very good activities, last time I went to camp we just made wallets, not 300 pounds of wooden kick-assery.

I thought Jason's main instrument of death was his Machete?
I'd be hell of a lot more impressed if the guy carved the same thing with just that... =P

He also scores points for his Spice and Wolf and K-ON sculptures.

Thank you for bringing those up. I dropped everything I was doing to check out the Spice and Wolf one, and he made an excellent Holo/Horo (whichever floats your boat). Have not seen Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha or K-ON, so didn't check out those ones. He also did a really impressive EVA Unit 01 from NGE.

When things like this exist, and EA does stupid things like fake protesters, I wonder who runs marketing divisions. This would have been great for the press if this was simply unveiled for Bioshock 2, and the event was held outdoors where after a making of video there was a live swhow of him finishing the drill and finally attaching it, then firing the thing. Next hands on the game and more woodcarving. It would have been a weird press event but I'm sure people that attended would have enjoyed it and it would have been the talk of the week.

That is so cool. Now I wonder how much the stupid studio spent on their version of life size Big Daddy. They could of probably flown him in (or ship the finished wooden Big Daddy) and it would have probably cost less.
You guys should check out the guy's other youtube videos, specifically one in which he carves out a F***ING girl (complete with anime style flowing hair, that's the point) out of F***ing wood.
