What Joystiq should do for some swag contests should be something similar: Rewrite the ending to your favorite game. The results, like the ones from this contest, would be awesome.

I should amend this. The Mega Man one one made me laugh. The Mario one on the bottom is kinda neat. Kinda. And the River City Ransom one isn't bad. Other than that, though, they're all terrible. The Super Metroid one is just the original box art with some dude's face pasted over Samus's helmet. A mugly dude. And the alien in the background of the the Contra one looks like it's about to sing, "Feed me, Seymore!"

Exactly. Samus looks like some ugly dude. And why the hell does that one Super Mario Bros box have Yoshi on it? Not to mention the fact that the words "Entertainment System" are not by the Nintendo logo, so it makes no sense.
