You learn something new every day. Both humorous and informative. Well done Griffin, well done. Though I guess it's not shocking considering how awesome your name alone is.

PS2! PS2! PS2! PS2!

That system really is a cockroach, isn't it? Never dies.

When the nuclear holocaust comes, people will still be buying PS2's.

With bottlecaps.

I would love to see if the Wii will last as long as the PS2.

@nighttime

Not a chance in hell. ps2 was a great cheap dvd player when it was released, then the undisputed king of consoles when it came to game lineup, then it went after the casual market, that is why it's the best selling console of all time. The wii went after your fat grandma with wii sports and later wii fit rubbish. Going after the casual market first was a big mistake, seeing as most core gamers now side with ps3/360/pc. It will never post ps2 numbers.

What if somebody had their birthday on leap DAY? Would they legally be 4 times as young? I never understood that.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - March 2nd

Final Fantasy XIII - March 9th

God of War 3 - March 16th

There's gonna be a ton of releases this month. I've only named like 1/9th of all the releases this month.

"We thought we'd memorized the time-old mnemonic device: "February 29 will join your collection, in all years including a mid-term election." Apparently, it ends with "presidential election," with optional addendum, "unless the year is divisible by 100, in which case, it's not a leap year, unless it's actually divisible by 400, in which case, it is a leap year." Man, what a stupid mnemonic device."

Except that, years that end in 00 are divisible by 4 meaning they would be leap years. With 2000 being a leap year and there being 25 leap years in a century, that would make 1900 a leap year as well. A number not divisible by 400.

You sir, are suffering from being right. Any number divisible by 4 is a leap year (see: 2008, not divisible by 400).

Recind my previous statements, 1900 was not a leap year.

"In the Gregorian calendar, the calendar used by most modern countries, the following three criteria determine which years will be leap years:

Every year that is evenly divisible by four is a leap year;
of those years, if it can be evenly divided by 100, it is NOT a leap year, unless
the year is evenly divisible by 400. Then it is a leap year.
According to the above criteria, that means that years 1800, 1900, 2100, 2200, 2300 and 2500 are NOT leap years, while year 2000 and 2400 are leap years."

Wow i didn't know that. Not that i'll live to the year 2400 anyway, but still. Imagine being the guy born in 2296 on Feb 29. He'd have to wait till 2304 to have a 'real' birthday.

By 2400, it may be irrelevant; astronomers may have invented a more accurate calendar than the Gregorian by then.
