That won't be a boss battle... if you played GoW2, you'd know why

I think he's referring to the boss battle that happens on Gaia with the spider-looking horse beast . . . thingy.

I thought I was tired of games like God of War, but a screenshot like that does get the blood pumping again.

The one thing I don't like with the demo (and they kept it in the final game from what I saw in the GTTV episode) is the button mapping locations. when you need to press X for a quick time event, its on the bottom and its small. Squae on the left, circle on the right, etc. If you have a large TV, you have just a split second to scan the TV to figure out what button to press. GOW1/2 had it nice and big, centered on the top of the screen. Only thing I'm worried about.

I actually like that quite a bit. You don't even have to pay attention to whether the button on the screen is a circle, square, circle or X. If you see it appear at the top you just hit the top button. Unless you're just sitting too close to an enormous screen you should still be able to see them appear at least in your peripheral vision.

I don't like them either. I tend to miss what's actually happening while I'm lookingfor a button promt. I wish they did it like heavy rain where the button follows the action.

yes, i thought the button prompt mechanic was an improvement, too. When the buttons all appear in the same spot and your nerves are flying it's too easy to get caught up and hit the wrong thing. This is more of a feeling, bottom of the screen mean bottom button. I thought it was WAY better.

I liked the button mapping locations. I could easily find the button prompts through peripheral vision and give my full attention... to you know... Kratos stabbing things.

I think it's all a matter of getting used to. I was a little thrown off when I first played the demo but then I started to like it better after multiple playthroughs. One advantage of the new layout is that It'll allow you to be more immersed in the action without the button prompts getting in the way. You can just watch the action, spot the prompts in the corner of you eye and press accordingly.

Well, I mean you can't ... you know, nobody owns how a game is built or the mechanics of a game. It would be pointless for us to be upset if somebody borrows or outright copies things that we do,cause we are guilty of doing it to we got our ideas from Devil may cry.so to our fans don't be mad we started the coping concept .

Also agree, i love the new button mapping for the qte's. I look at the middle of the screen where all the action happens and i still get the buttons right because all is in the view

One day they should include all games, GOW:CoO, GOW 1, 2 and 3 in a single package.

Demo was fun, but anyone notice how choppy and slow the frame-rate was in comparison to GoW1 and 2?

I know the demo is coming up on 9 months old and I'm not trying to spoil the mood, just hoping that's one of the "graphical" improvements mentioned and a lil' worried that it wasn't specifically addressed in this interview.
