You may not be checking LittleBigPlanet for new levels as obsessively as you once were, but that doesn't mean that junior designers aren't still out there trying to perfect Super Mario Bros. 1-1 or trying to recreate the myth of Sisyphus. The game's community has just reached another big milestone: Two million available levels. It took them nine months to get the first million in late July of 2009, meaning that development isn't slowing down. In fact, it would appear to be speeding up.
It's inspired us to dust off our LittleBigPlanet disc and ... oh, wait.

well worth the full price in my opinion. it's been the only game i've kept around for ps3, and it'll likely stay that way once i've had enough of Heavy Rain

On the contrary, it's more the hardcore players that are still on LBP rather than the latter.

I don't recall mentioning RROD. I've re-read my comment and I can't see a mention of it anywhere, can you?

Thats funny, this is two week old news for one, but yes people with slims and 160gig fats among some other newer fats can still get online. However LBP still works with a borked ps3, I just can't access my dlc, except water oddly. Justin is just mad he pays for Live and it goes down annually.

@ shattered Minds
Can you? What i was saying was people harped on the RROD....well to this day even. This has been going on now for like less than 24 hours and you are tired of it? You can expect it to get much worse. It wasn't a dig at anyone, i just thought it was funny that you got bored of it so quickly, whereas the RROD jokes are still rolling out.

I've never made jokes at RROD's expense, and yes those jokes are boring and also got boring fast, and I don't even own a 360. But this isn't a post pointing a joke at RROD to go say the same thing about it so that would be completely out of context and possibly even flame-baiting.

@ Spartan
In all fairness now the RROD itself is still rolling out although not as often.

There is no need to defend him. I wasn't attacking anyone. I was just saying. And Rocky? why did you pay 300 dollars to get it fixed? i have had it happen to me twice and they fixed it for free both times. Ohh no, im not denying that the RROD arnt still happening, just the fact that the jokes are. Which is kinda pointless now that they fix them.....you know....for free.

Is this before or after Sony deleted 90% of the user created levels over little things like accidentally having an obscure cartoon character in the background of a photo you used as a backdrop?

60,000 good levels? Thats alot. Sadly you're right and they're hard to find, especially when fart knockers like to rate crappy levels highly.

I know i'm in the minority for this, but this "game" has never appealed to me.
When I buy a game, I'm interested in playing it, not making it. I understand the social aspects of it and the design tools (that makes you feel like a game creator), but aside from the shoddy controls, I never understood why this "game" deserved to be game of the year.
