As long as it's quality DLC like Secret Armory instead of the other two. I'm game.

FYI, I thought Armory was lower quality (it had MANY more bugs than the others). And I enjoyed Zombie Island the most. Plus a portion of Armory required more than one person to play (though at least beating the story didn't).

I like all 3 but for different reasons.

Moxxi is when all your buddies are onine, though I'll admit 100% it is a bitch.

Dr Neds is great for single player (no vehicles or big open spaces)

The Armory is great for challenging us that have had it easy with our maxed out character. At first I was bitching about the difficulty but then I remembered how often I got my ass handed to me when I first started.

One request- I want Fast Travel between maps!!!!!!!

I liked the other two but it seems like they simply weren't worth the money to me. Dr. Neds was fun and new, but it felt so out of place ( which I'm fine with )

Mad Moxxi is where I started losing faith, It was definitely fun but it should've been something that was already in the game. Banks, Arenas, etc.?

However with Secret Armory of G.Knoxx, it expanded on the story, brought me a challenge, introduced some new weaponry and items ( which is one of the reasons I bought borderlands in the first place ) and STILL had a great multiplayer experience ( getting the vincible achievement )

@Cap

Ugh, there's still no travel between the maps? I hated that about Ned. It felt like 50% of the content was backtracking/running around the main island. It'd be more fun if it had map travel, even if it would cut down the playtime. Making you run everywhere just to lengthen it is stupid.

bugs or not it was the superior dlc content and fit in with the original game and felt really fun.

Underdome was the worst but Dr Ned's is great just doesn't feel like borderlands it felt like some boring l4d clone.

I think it'd be awesome if they introduced a whole new area, higher level cap, new weapons and monsters etc...

But also a 5th class. Something new to play with...and maybe wildly different, too, so that there was incentive to play all the way through the game again with a whole new character.

The only problem with Secret Armory?

It made me wish the other DLC was as filling.

Every time I load up Secret Armory, it feels more that I'm playing a huge addition onto the game. Zed and Moxxi all FELT like DLC.

This just feels... Right.

No fast travel hurts my heart, but I'll pay out my nose for more DLC like Armory.

I think Knoxx is one of my favorite characters yet.

Yeah...the backtracking is really bad. Last Friday, I was on the verge of falling asleep while playing Ned's b/c there repetitive backtracking was making me extremely sleepy.

Why can't Gearbox do the same?

Knoxx DLC has NO DRM through Steam. If Securom was your reason for not purchasing then you should buy it now.

i don't know man, at the price for the DLC so far i'd prefer a sequal for 50 than 4 dlc for 40.

i'm sure they are hard at work, but come on.

I JUST picked this game up a couple of days ago. I've only put in a couple of hours but I'm actually not that into it. I'm hoping it just gets better as it goes and will definitely put in the time and give it a fair shake, seeing as how many great reviews and fans there are of this game, I'm hoping I'll come around. I do like the support they're giving it with the DLC though.

If you don't like the original game, that DLC won't make it any better for you. It pretty much is MORE of the SAME. Which isn't exactly a bad thing for us hardcore BL fans but it just doesn't change much.

If you aren't digging it at all by level 20 - You probably won't dig the game. It's so damn fun though, no idea how one who digs on FPS couldn't like it.

I know. I'm hoping I just had an 'off' day or something. I'm only level 7 right now. I've played maybe 2 hours or so. I'm going to play it for a while tonight.

This time I'll play it sober.

At its heart, this game is just the same as any old dungeon crawler of years past...kill, collect booty, rinse, repeat.

It's fun derives from having good company with a sense of humor, and maybe some good junk food like m&m's, coffee, and some cookies thrown into the mix (and possibly some beer for all the alcoholics out there). B/c really, all you're really doing is looking for better and better guns, debating the merits of one gun or another, and then dumping all the extras for cash to buy more ammo, guns, or better shields. It's intensely fun in the beginning when your character is weak, but as time wears on, the curve drops and flattens out b/c your character gets too powerfully equipped. So if you're bored...sorry, can't help you there, I can understand why it's not appealing to you. It's a buddy game.

I gave it a few hours, couldn't get into it. You may as well do what I did: trade it in while Gamestop's special is running. I got $27 for it last night (after it had been sitting in my truck for the past three weeks).

I really enjoyed the DLC packs I got(1st & 3rd). I just didn't get the Moxxi pack as I heard that it wasn't worth it. As long as it's as good or better than the Secret Armory pack, I'll get it.

So far, I'm dissapointed with this game.. constant cycle of.. respawn player, respawn alpha/badass enemies, use up ammo, buy ammo, survive through second chance, get to next part and die or head back for more ammo (only for the alpha/badass to respawn and kill me).. it just the repetiveness that's killing this for me..

Yeah, why there is no fast travel in the DLC is beyond me. As for the next DLC, I say bring in a mix of what we've already had... something as big and new, that extends the story, like the SAoGK, but something as fresh and fun like the Underdome/Zombie Island.

Personally, I'd like to see us leave Pandora to journey to a few other planets, like Aquator or something.

I bet almost anything that the next DLC will be an Alien themed pack. They've done Zombie-themed DLC, Crimson Lance/Bandit-themed DLC, and crap-themed DLC... The logical next step is ALIENS.

Mark my words and remember that you heard it here first...

Many games usually get better DLC than the last, and Gearbox's last was the best yet. I hope to see even larger areas to explore with fresh enemies that fit into the place, and various goodies and humor.

I'd like to see DLC that all users can play. I am a few hours in, and would gladly pay for all the DLC, but don't you have to be at like level 30 or 40. I am seeing more DLC for games that don't scale, you just have to be at a high level to even use it. They could make a lot more $$ if the DLC was applied to everyone.

if you wanna beat him easily start modding your weapons (everyone will enjoy seeing your console getting banned) (note ive never modded anything in my life)
