Just because you like Portal shouldn't mean you have to get whatever systems the Valve people favor.
Even Mass Effect 1 and 2, probably my favorite next-gen games ever so far, couldn't convince me to get a 360. I'll just play them on a friend's computer.
Portal 2, on the other hand, is likely to actually to come to PS3, so I don't think it's silly to expect it to be playable and timely when it does.
