Tower defense fans, rejoice, for Toy Soldiers has arrived. Take note, however, because Toy Soldiers adds a few twists to the standard tower defense formula. First and foremost, players can take direct control of the various towers, turrets and vehicles that are placed on the map. Whether it's sniping army men from the sniper tower or dogfighting enemy planes, there's plenty of variety. The game even packs Facebook integration (note: stay away from the Facebook app if you value productivity). Watch the latest XBLA in Brief and decide if Toy Soldiers is worth 1200 ($15).

You seem to get a gas mask for your avatar too. Still pretty rare right now for games to give out rewards, right? Is there anything else bar this, ODST and Splosion Man?
Left 4 Dead 2 has quite a few avatar unlockables. I wish more games integrated this feature. AVP would have been nice. I'd love to have a "pet" facehugger. lol. But I have been looking to play this game for a while. Been a long time since I was interested in a XBLA game actually. I can not wait for Perfect Dark though.
Kinda bored of WW1/2, it's just been done to death.. but then.. did it say there I can.. play as the Germans for a change...as in through the campaign?
That level is the tutorial level... and either way it ends before you kill that tank... but it comes back later... and later theres an uber tank.... yeah, this game is worth it.
Saw this game at CES. Was a blast to play. Also the creators that were there were really cool guys though the Microsoft marketing guy I played against was so terrible I beat him while talking to the lead designer and the marketing guy was fully paying attention to the game.
