Look, we don't like giving out ultimatums here; people are free to do what they want and we wouldn't dare dream of interfering. But we feel like we just can't go on if you don't own a copy of Platinum Games' MadWorld -- or have at least played it -- at this point in time.
So, we'd like to point out this sale over at Newegg. The game will only set you back a double sawbuck ($10) and even has free shipping -- there's really no excuse for you to refuse our request. Fine, you don't even have to play it. Just give it to a friend and hang out while they enjoy the over-the-top carnage and hilarious commentating duo of Greg Proops and John Di Maggio. Relationships are give and take, so work with us here, guys!

Definitely worth it. But It was on Amazon for $13 at Christmas time, so I picked it up then.
Part of me loves that so many great Wii games are this cheap, but another part of me hates it because it's just more proof of the difficulties third parties have...so, it's cool in the short-term, but bad in the long-term.

Sigh. A fail for Canada. And I wanted to get this game, too! :(
Blasted high Canadian prices and shipping.

In the mail.
But I'm with other, less asshole-ish, non-douche, non-pirates: Though I like the low prices, it also hurts to see that this is a prime example of the third-party, Nintendo tango. (Granted, I believe that most 3rd-party games that didn't do well had their reasons for not doing well...)

You can find it for $9.99 @ KMART. I picked up my copy there a couple of weeks ago. No sale..normal price (price drop).

Or you could burn 10 bucks instead of wasting them for arty violent crap that has been made to create more braindead emotionless cannonfodder. Who would even download something like that?!
"Mature" means something else in my opinion.

I'm happy to say I bought this game at full price..my wallet isn't happy, but I feel like a self-righteous douche when I say "screw you all, I'm supporting the industry!" :)
Of course I then went and paid only $20 for House of the Dead:Overkill...but hey! Both of them are fantastic games...I would not mind a sequel to Madworld at all, especially if Greg and Joe were back as commentators, my roommate and I would replay levels just to listen to them, it was hysterical.

I also bought the game at full price on the day of launch. I feel that I can at least support the quality efforts that some studios put into a game. I enjoyed Madworld quite a bit but can say that Muramasa was far superiour all around. I absolutely love Muramasa. Easily my favorite Wii game to date and one game I tell anyone and everyone to check out. I'm hoping that they release another one.

I bought this title from Futureshop.ca during Christmas for $14. I was impressed for the first couple levels, but then it just gets stupid tough and the fun gets thrown out the window.
The controls are also quite frusterating, this game would be much more enjoyable with the classic controller and no motion controls.
I'd also have to note that the camera is among the worst ever for these style of games - why can't they just add a proper lock-on button. It should be as simple as press lock-on and the camera pans behind you to face the enemy... but this is rarely the case, making for some frusterating battles.
