WayForward is a great developer... I hope they can deliver a great game based on a cartoon.

Do you guys remember the SNES Taz game where you have to eat all the Kiwi Birds... that game kinda sucked tho...

And do you guys remember the SNES Road Runner game (a platformer) with this huge stages?

Ahh, memories.

You're not boosting our expectations.

My expectations are because the game is being developed by WayForward... yes, they are mostly a licensed based developer, but when they do non-licensed games, they are usually great: the new A Boy and His Blob, Mighty Flips Champs, Lit, Contra 4, the classic Shantae (and they are developing the new one too)...

I really don't have too much expectations tho... I just hope someday games based on cartoons start being good again, like in the SNES or NES era.

I had a Taz game for the Game Gear. It was hard as hell. There was this snow level pretty early on that I could never beat. I raged so hard. Back then, it was a big deal for me to get a game. When one ended up being bad, it was heartbreaking.

I also remember a Road Runner game on the GG that was awesome. Gigantic levels, tons of secret areas, perfect difficulty. I can't begin to recall how many times I played through that game.

After this nice trip down memory lane, I might have to break out the old Game Gear and a pack of 8 AA batteries.

To your question, no, he isn't. He hasn't been since Taz-mania in the early 90s.

This gives hope for a Hammerman videogame though.

I remember one of their games I used to play a lot for some reason: Mickey's Ultimate Challenge on the SNES.

Very off-topic, but what happened to Bradwart? I have not been here regularly for a little while.

Excellent. There needs to be more games based on cartoons. That's one of the many things I miss about the 16-bit days.

Judging by the number of Taz tattoos on the same demographic, Taz will ALWAYS be a popular character.

I hope there's an I'm batman button in this game too.
