Arcade version is awesome with the whole tilting chair stuff, don't think a console version is gonna replicate the same experience though (though it'll have a longer single player i suppose)

and the special multi-lock multi-fire all multi-kill all-at-once-super-slo-mo special power is totally awesome

Damn good game. The only one I have ever seen, though, was at the ESPN Zone at LA Live, across the street from the Staples Center.

Well if you have a couple of friends that owe you a favor you can ask them to tilt your chair for you to replicate the arcade version. Probably would give them a 5 minute break between levels though, could be hard work.

its a pretty popular game here in Japan (stationed here with Air Force). I've played the arcade version that has the rotating seat/cockpit a few times. Its okay in short bursts but I don't see myself buying it and playing it regularly.

Can't wait until it's on the Xbox 360 marketplace. This game looks sweet!

I've more than once made the two hour drive to Gameworks just to play this. It's that awesome.

This game will not be good.

Okay okay, it will still be awesome... but it will never be as fun as it was when I played it in an arcade with the deluxe pneumatic chair and giant high-def screen a few feet away from your face. You've never seen quarters disappear so fast!

Price it on Live or PSN for $10 and I'll pick it up just to relive the old days when I would run to the arcade and have all those sprites whipping by on that huge 20 inch screen!

I do believe they already announced that the price would be ten bucks, for the record!

I am really digging these remakes by Sega. Outrun for XBLA was the bee's knees.
