The small, irradiated pool of Fallout: New Vegas knowledge is about to get bigger. Bethesda has announced that the April issue of Official Xbox Magazine -- set to hit newsstands next week -- will devote its cover story to the game. Readers can expect an eight-page spread on New Vegas and, as a bonus, the included DVD will also feature some exclusive gamer pics (what, no Avatar items?).
Sharp-eyed readers will notice that the magazine has an eight-page feature on Halo: Reach as well. All in all, probably something Xbox gamers should keep an eye on.

My name is Lt. Aldo Raine and I'm putting together a special team, and I need me eight soldiers. As a bushwhackin' guerrilla army, we're gonna be doin' one thing and one thing only... killin' Trolls. They're the foot soldiers of a commenter-hatin', mass murderin' maniac and they need to be dee-stroyed. That's why any and every son of a bitch we find postin' a Troll comment, they're gonna die.
We will be cruel to the Trolls, and through our cruelty they will know who we are. And they will find the evidence of our cruelty in the disemboweled, dismembered, and disfigured bodies of their brothers we leave behind us. And the Troll won't not be able to help themselves but to imagine the cruelty their brothers endured at our hands, and our boot heels, and the edge of our knives. And the Troll will be sickened by us, and the Troll will talk about us, and the Troll will fear us. And when the Troll closes their eyes at night and they're tortured by their subconscious for the evil they have done, it will be with thoughts of us they are tortured with.
SOOOUUUUNNND GOOD?

Yeah I was just reading some info that was probably from that on the wiki.
You might be the guy who is buried in the trailer, and the robot might be called victor is what I have inferred from it.
Also it features a hardcore mode that I'll probably save for my second playthrough.

I read the issue at work. If you are wondering about Fallout New Vegas here are the details.
Roughly the same size as Fallout 3
Conversations will have more like classic Fallout allowing you to completely avoid conflict.
Your stats will play a part in the conversation. Strength will be intimidate, Sneak is persuasion, gun stats, etc will all play a part resulting in a more "rpg feel"
More sidequest with greater rewards. Depending on how you completed this one quest involving a super mutant it will net you a free place to sleep and/or a discount at the local shops.
You can now issue commands to teammates.
Greater power to influence things than Fallout 3 did.
I heard PSM also has an even deeper reveal.

Umm...yeah...not trying to be a nitpicking asshole who gets anal every time he sees this but Joystiq...AGAIN an issue with the platform icons??? You're talking mainly about the cover which features Fallout: New Vegas, a game that will be out on PC, PS3 and 360. Fair enough there's a section about Halo: Reach as well, but only having a platform icon for 360 here is a bit misleading!
It's the Joe Danger escapade all over again. Seriously...
