Looks like Pedobear has finally had enough, and he's not taking it anymore...

That's strange. I was always under the impression that he was the "giver" and not the "taker".

....for furries.

I can see this game overtaking Sonic the Hedgehog as the furry game of choice.

I'm sorry, Joystiq. It's been a long week, and I'm very tired. Please forgive me for my stupidity. Or, everyone just point and laugh at me.

Henceforth, may the act of A-2-M be known as "doing the naughty bear."

One of the dumbest looking games I can recall in recent memory. Stupid concept, also.

I didn't know that any negative criticism equated to trolling. I think this is one of the dumbest looking games I've ever seen, sorry for the opinion.

@Markez
To quote Homer, "Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter."

Can you explain why you feel this way about the game? Personally, I think the game sounds good but I worry that it may turn out to be a game built around a simple concept wrapped in a cute, fuzzy facade. It could seriously kick ass but it could just as easily suck ass. Or, as Andrew worries, it may just "get old quick."

I'm not sure I trust any product from A2M. They've consistently produced...subpar products.

I'm with you for the most part, but anyone can change, eh? I'm certainly on the fence with this game though. Conker didn't work because it was cartoon violence, it worked because it had a genuinely hilarious plot coupled with, you know, cartoon violence. I'm not seeing the plot here.

Anyways, directly concerning A2M, if you haven't already and you get the chance, definitely check out last-gen's Scaler if you like platformers. It's truly one of the best third party platformers out there, and I know there were a metric tonne of them last generation so it was way too easy to miss. Fun game.

Oh, I had Scaler! It was a lot of fun. The transforming into other creatures was a really interesting concept, I'm surprised it didn't sell more copies than it did.

I'm impressed with the visuals, but have the same concern as Yoon. But there really needs to be an update to this genre of games because it is totally lacking in today's line-up.

The visuals do look a little strange -- I would like to see the game in motion -- but this concept looks completely hilarious. I want to play this.

Could be great, I just hope the devs dont go overboard with it and be controversial just for the sake of it.

Because the 'game' is actually a huge Truman-esque psychological experiment as to what the impact of full-blown murder has on an individual. He's not actually killing anyone, nor are they able to harm him.

If you want a great game featuring some satisfying "cute violence" check out Raze's Hell for Xbox 1, it pioneered the genre. I still put the disc in to murder some cute, cuddly, rainbow-shooting cupits once in a while just for the fun of it.

Fur Fighters for PS2 was also a lot of fun. I remember my brothers and I having a lot of fun with the multiplayer portion of that game.

The first image release got me hooked. Everything I've seen since then has gotten me off... the hook. I honestly don't know what I was expecting, but what I'm reading is that this is a story-less, random-objective-based sandbox in which you just do what you can for no conceivable reason, except for leaderboard status. If that's all it is, I don't see why it would be a full-priced game as opposed to an XBLA/PSN title.

"Naughty Bear's gameplay is refreshing, and the game's presentation is absolutely spot-on. However, I am concerned that the game will get old quick."

My thought exactly.

Teddy Bears, like the Cylons they revere, have been plotting and preparing for this moment for 40 years. Naughty Bear is only an emissary doing psy-ops to fool us into the belief that the Teddies are only going to slaughter other Bears. Wrong. Our days are numbered. They're coming for us all...
