Come on XBLA and PSN versions! This game is brilliant on PS2. Still disappointed the Xbox version never came out though, would have made a good send off with Xyanide.

Also, the comics are such a fun read, beautiful art too. Still have that mid-nineties style that image / top cow went for. They need to make an animated film, or better, another new game.

this is going to be the trend now aye? iPhone & PSP games going hand and hand?

yea Sony needs to go ahead and bring out the PSP2....HOPEFULLY with any luck it will be to technologically advanced so they can't simply port games that way....some things just suck ass with touch screen controls...

God is it annoying. The iPhone is not a legitimate platform.

Downvote all you want.

"The iPhone is not a legitimate platform."

And yet there's like 400 games released for the thing every week.

You better get cracking on those memo's!

PSP2 has been RUMORED for a WHILE now....when the Go was rumored people was calling it the PSP2 at first and that wasn't the case...I am HOPING it gets announced @ TGS this year with a Spring '11 launch in Japan and a Fall '11 Launch in the US...2 analog nubs, UMD support, 32-64GB HDD, and more....I can dream can't I?

Evin & Ezio we will all get downvoted but I feel the same way....I get tired of people trying to legitimize the iPhone/Touch a a GAMING PLATFORM....and thats JUST not the case....I have a iPhone 3Gs and MAY get the next version in a few month(if I don't decide to jump ship to Win7Phone this fall) but the only game I own on my iPhone is Droplitz....and thats cause it was .99....I played numerous lite version of games and I just don't like them...the controls on all of them are simply horrid

This was an underrated overlooked gem that was released in the death throes of Acclaim selling it off to whoever would publish it.

I have a copy of it for PS2...it was a good shooter.
Definitely should be brought to XBL or PSN.

And I agree with Chris D......iPhone as a "game platform" is annoying.......maybe for tweens and the like...but not for actual adults.

In response to NaheemTHM....400Lbs of Crap...is still crap.

I still have the Xbox demo in my cupboard somewhere. Loved it. This was one of the last games I was eagerly looking forward to back in 2004 or 05.

The Red Star is just one big love letter to Treasure. The gameplay is exactly what you'd get if you combined Guardian Heroes with Radiant Silvergun, and it's exactly as fantastic as that sounds.
