yeah, target should drop the "unbeatable prices" since there is usually a wal-mart within 10 miles of each one.

It's worth the extra cost to shop at Target.

The stores are cleaner, and there's usually a higher class of people that shop there, as opposed to Wal-Mart.

You've just got to keep an eye on Target's clearance bins. They do run fairly good sales too-I picked up Force Unleashed about a month after launch for 39.

@biggen

That's not Target's slogan. It's expect more, pay less. And yes, it's like Dr. Blight says. Target's Clearance is actually clearance unlike Walmart's "clearance"

Toys R' Us also has a special where you get a $13 gift card for purchasing Final Fantasy XIII.

Have to be a Rewards R' Us member.

Picking up Bad Company 2 on amazon they handed me a promotional credit email. Giving me 20 dollars off my next purchased game from them that was entitled to take it. Low and behold FF13 was on the list so i picked it up for a mere 39 bucks.

Shop Smart, Shop S-Mart

It is $60 dollars @ Amazon, however, if you get the "release date shipping", it's only about $5 extra. That's pretty much around what you would be paying in tax if you went to your local store.

I can confirm this because I just pre-ordered it myself. I am in the US, but, i'm not sure if the "release date shipping" varies by state. Just don't do overnight shipping, and save yourself some money if you want it right away.

Now I can buy some of those brushed silver frames at target, and a game. Or two of the Target brand pizzas, and some coke. The possibilities are endless. Plus in my town very few people use Target so I don't have to worry about it being a pain to get the game.

Captain planet, your powers are limited to that of the planet.
That does not include seeing into the future, so you don't really know what the first 15 hours are gonna be like.

pika is right though, I don't know why he got down-voted. You don't even have to wait till it hits greatest hits, I guarantee this game will be on sale for $40 if not cheaper at some point in the next three months. If you don't mind waiting a few months to buy a game, you can save a ton of money and that's why I have a backlog of 15-20 PS3 games.
