This looks leaps and bounds better than the Mako. Can't wait. Plus we get missions for it. And it's all free for us "new" buyers. That's fresh!

I still don't understand how so many people diss the Mako so badly. Does everyone REALLY think the mineral scans in ME2 are better?

I do think the Mineral Scans were better. I didn't mind the Mako but it slowed down the game a LOT, without giving you any real progress. 30 minutes driving around and you get what? A turian emblem, 100xp, and *more* weapons? Even the outposts got tiring... some space real estate developer must have made a ton of credits selling millions of the same modular buildings to miners, pirates, and scientists.

The mineral scans on the other hand, took me *maybe* 90 minutes over the course of my 35 hour playthrough. (I purchased just about every upgrade I could- sans the medical bay). -remember: tap tap tap the scan button, don't hold it down

I think the optimum solution might have been more ground missions and having all the upgrades as pick ups.

Well I just started a 3rd playtrough to get the last batch of Achivements. I can wait for this one.

If they would have just used the Mako smarter in Mass Effect 1 - people wouldn't have hated it as much. I really liked zooming around on the Mako, trying to climb impossible cliffs and launching off and such - there really wasn't any of that "Fooling around" in Mass Effect 2.

Smarter - of course would be by making the mako missions smaller - less wandering around and more taking on the challenges.

@Swagman

I agree with everything you said but, just one correction. EA did add a code for additional maps and materials with the activation of the BF Store. You get free maps if you have the code and access to the DLC if you have the code and if you don't you have to pay $15 for it down the line.
