Virtual Shackles gets my vote, and it wasn't even that funny.

Man...where did the funny go?

Oh, ironically, you can't do teabagging in the current Reach build, because the camera cuts away to other players immediately.

Wait what is Halo without teabagging ? I guess all thats missing is some system that kicks anybody being a racist/hater/jerk on the chat... One can only dream of such a day.

Remember, they're in internal beta. Plus, the spawn times aren't set. They'll fix it-it is listed as a bug.

Really respect the hard work and thought that went into Brawl in the Family this week. Didn't laugh out loud, but still liked it the best.

I agree, BitF gets my vote, though you'd think after overcoming ApocalyPS3, we'd have more web comics about it, and at least one that's funnier than the one we got...

Just want to say nice work Another Video Game Webcomic for putting a lot of effort into the art. Looks great.

That said, went for Virtual Shackles because that will be awesome.

Joe Dunn's a really talented artist. I don't know who's writing Another Video Game Webcomic, but he's not nearly as talented a writer as Joe is an artist.

Not much in the way of chuckles from the web comics this time around... voted for BITF tho.

Off topic (and the reason I'm replying to The Dark Wayne...) I don't think you've made any mention of FFXIII so far and your intent to buy it or if you don't care or not, Wayne.

A word of warning, though.. if you are considering getting it.. be prepared to hear Liara T'soni every time Lightning speaks :/ I know how fond you are of her signature melodious Rhode Island tones :p

Why doesn't he just go ahead and create "Room Full of Spikes Man" or "Giant Indestructible Boulder Man"?

when brawl in the family learns to distill its humor into a concise comic that doesn't span 20 panels, i'll vote for it.

digital unrest was hugely disappointing. purely topical, with no creativity, which sucks because it's a great topic to make fun of.

suck my brock takes it this week.

supposedly it's justified every week. i can't remember the last time that a panel of theirs didn't require me to scroll down to read the whole thing.

it's not that they aren't funny, it's that it's unorganized. they take 50 or so jokes and just throw them into a comic, and it ends up being kinda funny. but i truly think that if they could restrict themselves to six or so panel comics that really feature the best of what they come up with, they'd be getting my vote every week.

Thanks.

Mind if I inquire as to why it took so long for us to win ya' over? Is it the art style, the writing, or something else all-together? Constructive feedback is essential in helping our comic and site grow, so please throw some input my way. :)

@MNC Dover

This is the first time I ever voted for MNC as well and to be honest, I initially thought it was stupid. The reason I ended up voting for it was purely because one of the financial advice books was called "What's a Check Book?" which I thought was original, genius, and hilarious.

Honestly, I only ever read MNC when it is in the WWW lineup and I get the impression that there are quite a few characters in the comic who all have distinct personalities and relationships with each other. None of the comics that I've read have made me care about or want to know more about those characters and their relationships. As a result, I don't usually understand what is going on and why characters are behaving the way they do, even when a familiar video game is being discussed or a familiar VG character shows up.

In other words, it isn't funny to me.

I have read the character descriptions but that didn't help (and, if anything, was even more boring to me.) Perhaps if there were only 2 or 3 characters? I don't know. Of course, you can't appeal to everybody. Even the overly popular Penny Arcade (which I read religiously) has its detractors.

Anywho, I hope my feedback was helpful or at least, consoling. I'll continue to read your comics when they're offered in the WWW lineup and give them a fair chance as I do with the rest of the lineup.
