for me this game reminds me of combat cars for the sega genesis, which probably ranks up there as one of my favorite games from my younger days of gaming. it was basically an entire summer of having my friends over every day to play this game in co-op and head to head. good times.

definitely picking this game up.

Oh man, I loved Rock N' Roll racing to bits. Such a fun game. This game flew under the radar for me, but you mentioning that game makes me want to check this one out, David.

"Scrap Metal". Seriously, could it be even more of a rip off of Twisted Metal? I mean, if you are going to copy a game's style (I'm sorry, homage), at least try and not rip off the general title as well. Might as well be : /

It's more of a Mario Kart or Deathrace ripoff than a Twisted Metal ripoff.

Twisted Metal's main gametype is just throwing you all into a giant arena with weapons and seeing who is the last alive. Scrap Metal is a racing game with weapons.

Chair really set the bar for $15 games with Shadow Complex.
This game looks like a $10 game to me. I'll reserve full judgement after the demo but that's just my gut feeling.

It really does feel like a $10 game. Actually, I always thought it was $10.

this game is pretty awesome, i played it at CES. it reminded me of Super RC Pro Am for the original gameboy. i don't think i'll pay $15 for it, it'd be a sure buy at $10.

also, not sure if the final version will have this but, the CES version had a 3D filter on it, so if you have those old red & blue style 3D glasses laying around, maybe try to dig em out. it wasn't the best 3D effect but, it was kinda cool (for a minute).
