It was pretty hilarious to hear your monotone overview being spoken over such epic music.

This is kind of a random question, but how exactly do you guys record the VC and XBLA in brief segments? Do you get sent a ROM to record or what? And by the way, I finished this game over the summer on GBA. One of my favorite games. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it yet.

They use a capture card... Youre over thinking it.

Oh man I read the title and thought it was the unreleased FF II for NES. I am disappointed.

So far, the only Japan-only games that were brought to NA/EU's Virtual Console were games that didn't have any Japanese-to-English translation requirement. Games like Sin & Punishment, Super Mario Bros 2 (The Lost Levels), etc.
So far, no old games that have been Japanese-only have been translated to English for VC. Games like Seiken Densetsu 3, the original versions of FF2, FF3 and FF5, Dragon Quests 5 and 6, etc would all be awesome... but unlikely.
Perhaps VC sales just aren't there to warrant the effort. Perhaps the economy plays into it. Perhaps the Wii's incredibly easy (and no mod chip requirement) piracy plays into this.
It's really kinda sad, actually, how the current situation is. Publishers are focusing on easy games for the casuals (who do not know how to pirate) and games not likely to cater to the tech-savy hardcore crowd who knows how to pirate. This is why we hardly see any hardcore games on the Wii, and why the ones we do see fail.

I honestly never thought Square Enix would ever release a SNES Final Fantasy on the Virtual Console. As far as I'm concerned, they're too a bit too late, since people like me already hacked their Wii to play Final Fantasy IV, V and VI.

I have played this game on the original SNES, as a rom on my laptop, as a GBA game using my CUBE and Gameboy Player, and as the remade FFIV on the DS. Think I will pass on this one.

Holy crap, you might as well get this one if you've bought it so many times. :P

I have all those and the psone FF chronicles release.
I also own about 40 releases of Sonic 1 and Sonic 2.
This makes me sad.

Gotta say, it's a bit of a disappointment they didn't at least give us the full FFIV. Been finally getting around to The After Years now, and stuff like Yang without Focus and Cecil without that Dark Sword move is gonna be kinda a downer after the mad fanservice I'm currently experiencing.
That said, FFII US blew my 3rd grade MIND. Stuff like the Paladin quest or the death of Tellah or discovering Golbez's identity...nobody even TRIED plot moves like that before then.
