First Modern Warfare 2 map pack coming to Xbox Live on March 30

Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling has pointed us toward a new self-help website filled with good news: new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 mutliplayer maps are coming to Xbox Live on March 30. While the powers that be at Activision might have ousted the creators of the game, they haven't affected the delivery of eagerly awaited new maps.

People afflicted with "mapathy," your cure is on the way. PS3 players ... well, you'll have to suffer a bit longer. Have you spoken to your FAMAS-ist about a prescription?

Poor baby. Don't be bitter just because your platform of choice is unwilling to pony up the money to get timed exclusive content.

I would have liked to have seen these maps sooner-- in my opinion they should have appeared by now, but at least they're coming. Have prestigated 3 times already and have started playing other games. Maybe since we're STILL waiting, they could throw us a bone, like a double XP weekend.

I for one won't be buying the maps for the ps3, i'm having way 2 much fun on BFBC2!!!

i have mw2 and bfbc2 ill get the dlc im not poor i can enjoy 2 different shooter games

Meh. I got BFBC2 for my Xbox and MW2 for my PS3.

BFBC2 is the shitz. Got it on the day it came out and been playing it for everyday. Thanks to the server problems with EA, it actually helped me completed the whole Campaign Mode. Now I just got to deactivate 14 more sat uplinks. Urgh.

MW2 for me was never fun online. I would always be pwned online. And I'm an okay FPS person. Sometimes I can be on the top of the leaderboards, sometimes I can be in the middle.

In MW2, I'll just consistenly get pwned in multiplayer by those lone wolfs.

I also like it's focus on teamwork and not booting people out of Party Chat.

So now after half a dozen attempts to get your whole party into a game together, the server will select a map that some of you don't have. So you get to back out and start all over again.

How about they fix the multiplayer system that's been broken since the first MW? Then I'll consider giving them money for a map pack.

Truer words have never been spoken. How about I pay you diddely squat and you fix the mess I paid you $60 for? Let me know when pigs are flying, good bet the online atrocity that is MW2's will be fixed around the same time.

MW2 is dead to me, so irreversibly dead.
