GDC: Dante's Inferno art show at San Francisco's Hotel des Arts
23
Held in conjunction with the Into the Pixel and Video Game Art Show exhibitions, San Francisco's Hotel des Arts is dedicating its entire fourth floor to "The Making of Dante's Inferno" through April 2010. We've got a sneak peek at the art on display in the gallery below, but if you want to see the real deal we'd suggest you make your way to the opening night reception being held at the Hotel des Arts on Thursday night, from 6pm to 10pm, smack dab in the middle of GDC week.

In before God of War comments...
This game doesn't need all the backlash it get's for playing like God of War...
The game is good regardless of the similarities in play style.
If you passed on this game because it looked like God of War, you're a fool.
That being said GoW3 is going to be amazing.

I've been playing it lately and am enjoying it so far.
And the Cerberus drawing looks awesome.

I was looking forward to it BECAUSE it was similar to GoW. I passed on it because the similarities stopped at the controls.

@Czar
Couldn't agree more!
@ryan
Really, you skipped BECAUSE it's not that similiar? Well that's strange. It's a really good game in it's own right. Now only the first sentence was aimed at you so don't take any offense. It doesn't "copy" GOW, the formula is common within most hack and slash games. It embraces that formula and it turns out to be a really good game IMO. I don't see any similiarities beyond controls, kind of not really the combat and magic, since the weapons and magic are different, but the system is the same, oh and QTE's

That's probably the most interesting variation of "Cerberus" I've ever seen.

I love the art, but could someone explain to me how the image 2of14 is a blatant copy of a Wieslaw Wiekulski poster??
It doesn't even 'allude' to it, it's blatantly taken from the "King Lear" - can they do that??
