When I saw them playing this song on the episode, I thought he was just making up lyrics to some other song. I've never heard the Lady Gaga version, but the Cartman version will most definitely be stored on my 360 hard drive soon.

The irony is that Lady Gaga makes millions by people buying the Cartman song for "lulz".

Newsflash: You can have fun party songs without buying cookie cutter manufactured crap like Gaga.

I'll buy it because I thought it was damn funny. I really don't give a crap if GaGa gets royalties off of it. Her money really isn't my concern.

@mywhitenoise - If Lady Gaga wasn't so popular would you still have said that?

Nope, no way. But now that she is so popular, and I have to hear her music every time Im in the grocery store, or every 20 minutes because of a co-workers radio station...you can see why I'm a little bitter.

I'd say the same if it were Bruce Springstein. His HUGE fanbase is the worlds greatest mystery.

I got a random roommate at my university dorm who just happened to be extremely gay. That would be fine, but in the middle of the night, when I'm sleeping, he busts out a random Lady Gaga lyric or two in this strange, breathy voice.

You don't know what hell is until you've woken up to the dude laying across from you looking you straight in the eyes in the dead of night, hissing "I wanna take a ride on your disco stick."

mywhitenoise, you realize that just about every dollar of those millions she makes gets invested right back into her career. Aside from the outfits, she lives a pretty low-key lifestyle and really does everything she does for the sake of art and for her fans.

That's why so many people like her for so much more than just the music.

I really, really, REALLY hate her music and think her style is completely pretention with no real rhyme or underlying reason besides being just plan "weird" and "different".

BUT, given the fact that she allowed the South park guys to use her song on the show the way they did, and release it as DLC on Rock Band makes me slightly less angry every time a carful of Jersey Guidettes drive past my house blasting Disco Stick. But only slightly....

It could be worst. He could bust out his "disco stick on" you in the middle on the night only for you to wake up and see the dude laying next to you. D:

I'm really glad to see Harmonix pushing the boundaries of what kinds of music they'll include. And using big name artists to do so even.

I will end up buying one of the "Poker Face" versions...though I'm not sure which would be more fun. And it sounds like there's more coming next week than just this!

Thank god they got 4 songs by this pop tranny instead of one of the hundreds of actual "Rock Band(s)" that still need to be added into the game. Shouldn't this be in Lips or Singstar or somesuch?

I'm not a fan either, but some people are. Teen girls and trannies play Rock Band now too, whether you like it or not. If you don't like this pack, no one is forcing you to buy it. Be thankful that Harmonix actually puts out weekly DLC almost two and a half years after the first game came out, STFU, and hope for something better next week.

Because not everyone likes music based on tiny fan bases, ridiculous names, and the speed of the "metal".

They're in the business of making money. Putting popular people into a gimmick game does that.
