Rock Band Weekly: Lady Gaga, Cartman's 'Poker Face'

Don't even lie! You're just as excited as any club kid that boundary-pushing pop sensation Lady Gaga is coming to Rock Band next week. So, in the privacy of your living room, break out the tight-fitting pleather and get your jam on (to the tracks you, publicly, tell everyone you hate).

Of course, you could pretend you "accidentally" bought the Gaga Track Pack, when you actually meant to purchase South Park chubby charmer Eric Cartman's rendition of "Poker Face." Yup, that lil' ditty will also be available. See, now you can cover up that undeniable desire to go goo-goo for Gaga with a veil of irony!

Me too...her music's catchy and those are good songs. (Ignoring the fact that she dresses like an attention whore.) When she doesn't have those "getups" on, she's not a bad looking chick. (And yes, for chrissakes, she's a chick. Anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves.)

I will probably download the track pack minus "monster". I'm not embarrassed to say I have both her albums in my itunes.

This is exactly the kind of stuff Rock Band needs so the women will actually get in there and sing once in a while, instead of sitting around looking bored.

Not being an owner of rock band... I gotta know which game will use these tracks. rock band, rock band 2 or lego rock band? Or is the right answer "all of them"?

I believe they'll work in all but Lego RB. Only some songs work with Lego.

I admit, i've never listened, but isn't Lady Gaga neither rock or a band?

So this is NEXT week, White Stripes is still coming out this week, right? Usually the next week's songs aren't announced til Friday.

Whatevs, haters. Lady GaGa's awesome. She actually writes music and plays an instrument, which is sadly impressive for a pop star these days. And her fashion sense is awesome, in a sort of hilarious way. David Bowie was a fashion icon in the 70's, even though he looked ridiculous. She's brave enough to broaden her musical stylings the way Bowie did, and if she's talented enough she could have just as big an impact.

Agreed. Look I am the biggest music pop music critic there is. I hate All of it. Pop music today is cheap and uninspired. But there something about Lady Ga Ga. I can get behind.

Lady Gaga is fun. At least she's interesting, writes her own music and can play some instruments. I like a few of her tracks... even if I mostly listen to random rock no one gives two shits about.

When I read that the Cartman version of Poker Face was going to be available I ran to my 360.

Sadly, however, I didn't read it is coming out March 16.

Joke's on everyone, that will be a fun song for parties! Women at three different get-togethers at out apartment have asked "Why no Madonna songs?", and end up settling for the Blink 182 track I have, because it's just straight fun pop, and that's what they want to sing.
