How insanely amazingly immensely indubitably epic would it be to be able to use Move with GOD OF WAR 3!?!? I would destroy the SHIT out of my entire neighborhood

"The Move's weight, coupled with the game's quick response and predictable physics, made every swing feel ... just right"

So it's relatively heavy? That's good, from looking at it, it looked like cheap plastic that weighed next to nothing.

i've read from hands-ons that it's actually really light, and almost all of them said that's a really good thing.

"The controllers are light. Much more akin to the DualShock3 than the Wiimote in heft, and we're guessing that's due to Sony's continued love of rechargeable batteries."

that's from engadget's hands-on.

So, wow. This whole Move thing is literally just a better wii control setup.

Isn't that aiming a little low, Sony?

I really hope MS is more progressive with Natal. If not I'll just skip this whole "motion" fiasco.

Hopefully there will be more than that. Even if it's an improved version of the Wii mote in every way possible it'll still be stupid if thats all it is. Let's see developers do something unique with all that extra ability.

Does no one else think Gladiator looks totally out of place. Fencing or something maybe but fighting in a roman looking stadium in an olympics style game? Weird. Apart from that I think it looks fun but Sony give us more than five events please.

I will say this, if the sony motion controller ever comes out with a 1:1 star wars lightsaber game even remotely resembling the old star wars arcade game, I'll buy it

And it'll be an INSTANT buy if you get to choose the color of your saber, whatever color you choose is reflected by the ball which turns off when you turn off the lightsaber, and if I can use the sony-chuck as a second lightsaber

I would never stop playing that!

Sonychuk doesn't have motion sensing, you need another glowstick to dual.

Yah I'd like play a lightsaber game too, especially if lightsaber cut through things properly, not just a blunt glowing baton eg in Force Unleashed.

Would be awesome, but forget dual wielding. Sony wasn't smart enough to make the nunchuck motion controlled. Unless you enjoy dual-wielding light saber while not moving. For me, this is why the gladiator game can only be a gimmick, the move controller always limits you in some way to the extent of motion you can control. And limited movement = gimmicky games.

Oh wow. Yeah, after home, and now this, next I guess we're going to have a Mario Kart clone from Sony except it will have realistically proportioned teenagers for drivers. And it'll be controlled by some kind of wheel attachment, they'll call it something like the Playstation..... rudder. Or something.

I was watching the live feed from the conference @ GDC and when they showed the this archery demo, my jaw dropped when the person reached back to get the arrow....

Some may not think that was a big deal but now seeing this after playing Wii Sports Resort for the last few months, I cant wait to play w/ PS Move controllers.

My only grip is that you have use another controller and NOT the "nonchuck". I hope the PS Move controllers stand-alone will not be too pricey.

Its not out of place if you compare it with Wii Play. This seems to be a mixture of Wii Sports and the infamous title.

It's official. I am getting old. When I look at this tech, I compare it to the Wii. And then I think, "Yea, that'd be cool to swing around for a little while" But then I realize I'd rather just sit back in my chair and relax than swinging around frantically.

Even with Natal the only thing I am looking forward to is UI navigation and machinima.

Eh, age has nothing to do with it, we gamers are just lazy. Arm-flailing is..... cool and all.... but I'd much rather stay stationary as I stare lifeless into a screen for hours on end.

I probably won't buy it, but I know I'd enjoy it more than the Wii. Wireless Wii controls with HD visuals, why not? Microsoft is really putting themselves out there with Natal. Personally, I think it'll end up being Sega Activators successor, but who knows. Damn you Sega, I'm still pissed about that.

Wow, Sony re-invented the Wiimote and Nunchuck adding HD, wireless
and camer asupport. Can we officially say sixaxis was a bust now. Plus Sony now has Wii Sports/Resort HD.

I'd love to see a FPS where both controllers are integrated into a rifle looking attachment so you can still use it for moving around and everything else, but then when you pull the attachment to your shoulder to site in then the screen will zoom in a little like it does with MW2 and actually capture where on the screen you are aiming and shoot there when you pull the trigger. That to me would make for a much more realistic FPS experience. Some may not agree, but at least it would add one more realistic element to the game and require the minute amount of skill it takes to aim a real weapon.

I sat on a focus group for this before last year's E3, and this game was originally a weird, time-traveling sports game. You went all the way from the past (the Gladiator game type) to the future (futuristic table tennis).

Although I was hoping and there's still a chance for more traditional sports games, this is what I've been hoping for. I like the idea of the Wii games, but I do not like the
elementary looking characters used for the Wii. They have no real personality.

@RangerPrimeX, The Sixaxis tech isn't busted, the devs just aren't forced to utilize it.
