They should make a medieval game where you can use the controller as a sword or a longbow.

That archery one looks like fun. Though I'd rather a Robin Hood-esque game as opposed to just a mini game of archery.

Somehow I have the feeling this isn't going to be as great as people say it will be, must be the pessimist in me.

Or maybe you have been let down by the Wii and its canned movements on top of not knowing where you or it is in 3D space.

Sony has been working on this for many years, they know what they are doing. You get the best aspects of Natal and the Wiimote with an added dose of precision that both can only dream of.

For me, its not just the accuracy and precision, but the fact that the speed of force also comes into play. Dukes for example you can jab or punch and the harder and faster you punch, the game mimics the movements, speed, and momentum perfectly.

I'm ignorant so forgive me, but how is any of this different from the Wii? I mean, we were all so excited for the Wii's controls, but that was a flash in the pan.

This is accurate, camera based, 1:1 motion control. The Wii is not any of those things.

Motion Plus is 1:1, at least, even though Wii itself certainly is not.

The only difference I know of so far is how you move the ... ahem ... Move, it has the ability to move whatever object on the screen exactly the way you do with the controller, hence why everyone calls it 1:1 ratio movement.

In other words you can`t be lazy like in Wii tennis when you can play the game sitting on the couch and just twitch your wrist (Which I`m so guilty of)

I know most of those are working titles, but man, could they be more generic? :P

I've got a question, remember the big uproar when Microsoft said Natal would use 10-15% of the computer resources? People said Natal games would not be able to deliver high production games because of it. Now, I know these 'Move' games are alpha, but most of them looked very poor. So I'm asking; Is the implementation of motion controls going to hit games in the graphics department?

Generic naming is sales conquest. Think about it. Wii Fit, Wii Sports, Rock Band, Carnival Games even.

Yes, Move titles will have to put a noticeable amount of CPU into the input processing.

But who cares, it's only going to be of any use for party games anyway. Sorry to have to break that to you.

But what about Socom 4 and other shooters that may be available for both controller options in the future. Will they look different if you play them with the Move?

They won't ramp down the CPU power if you "switch on" the motion tracking. and suddenly the graphics are worse. They will simply make the game with the decrease in mind.

Can't imagine Uncharted 3 having a planned decrease just to be able to play it with Move. Devs don't have a lot of room to play with, I don't think they'd be eager to sacrifice anything.

I doubt it .... Sony and Microsoft have a pretty high standard when it comes to quality of games.

Might get games like Cooking Momma but they`ll probably look they were done by the Heavy Rain devs lol

Heavy Rain would likely work nicely with PSM. Its input mechanics are very gesture-like, IMHO, something that can be better handled with a wand + nunchuck. Don't ya think?
