full game + all the DLC. Also the PS3 version has motion controls for whenever Sony releases their motion controller.

Is the additional content on a separate disc that you install/copy to your hard drive (like the Fallout 3 GOTY Edition)?

@Prox
The PS3 Gold edition has everything on the disc. The 360 version has download codes that you input on xbox live.

those assholes! Seriously, it's not even a week old and they discount it already? Lesson learned, never buy shit from Capcom until they release the "real" version along with the "real" price.

I've been having a lot of fun and went ahead and bought everything but the Vs. mode. Now I'm kind of ticked for early adopting. It's only 2.50 in savings but still... grrrr

Really wish they would have said something sooner, bought all four DLC this morning before they bundled it. The least they could do is lower the price on each piece so that those that have one or two of the DLC can get the remaining without paying more.

It's $1.50 savings. It's also a early adopter tax that I foolishly paid, just for 'Barry Time'. I would have felt ok if they had at least waited a month after gold released.

Its not only Capcom that does this, Guerrilla Games has done this with the Killzone 2 DLC bundling all three map packs together for $12. I remember I bought two of the map packs before they came out with the third pack and then a few weeks later bundled all three for $12. I am glad that I didn't buy the DLC for RE5 having not have the game but later today I'll be getting RE5 then tomorrow getting the DLC for $12.

This is great, more games should bundle their DLC for a reduced price after they've been out for a while.

It's nice.

Damn, now I wish I'd have waited...already purchased both DLC packs because I figured they wouldn't be bundled together for quite some time. :-(

I just bought the two episodes on Saturday...but I probably wouldnt have spent an extra $2.50 for costumes anyway, so I'm not too mad. Still would have been nice to have that option the second they put up the other expansion, though.

"Confused about exactly which costumes you'd get from a Resident Evil 5 costume pack?"

I'm confused about other things when I look at that picture...

Luckily I don't want the costume packs so I paid my $10 for the extra levels, (levels weren't worth the 10 if you ask me though).

I like the lost in nightmare add on, looks real legit for long time fans, but I'm kinda sick of the RE 4/5 style. Seems like all this gold version adds is stuff i was bored with in the first place. more costumes and characters to play doesn't really change the formula for me, and I've played the shit out of it to get those 46 achievements.

Why doesn't this include Vs. mode? Strange to not include it in the bundle.

Probably Capcom wants people to buy the Gold Edition if they want the Versus mode included since the Gold edition has all the DLC. They should of thrown in the Versus mode for $2 more making the bundle $14 instead of $12.

Discounting it one week later is not cool, setting the price higher on PS3 is not cool either. Capcom sucks this generation. At least they offered this extra stuff as DLC, unlike Street Fighter.

A few months ago, I wanted this so bad for PC, now not at all. What we need is a totally different style of RE.
