Those numbers really don't mean much. 20 games can mean either 20 full retail games or 20 downloadable PSN titles. Likely to be a mix of both.
And then there's the quality thing.

"Those numbers really don't mean much."

Well, to me, they mean they're going to support this thing and not lead it out to die like the PSP Go...

As long as they don't start releasing Metal Gear Solids and Uncharteds and God of Wars that REQUIRE the Move, I'll be happy. They can make a thousand shitty games that I will never care about so long as they don't screw with my meat and potatoes.

How about SOCOM 4? If it plays like it was shown, then I wouldn't mind buying, especially being that it supports the PS Move, being that i SUCK when it comes to shooters and analog.

AND I don't even like SOCOM, and yet the PS Move support as it on my radar as a game I wouldn't mind trying with the Move! How is that not impressive in some way!

Yeah, I think Sony realized that the PS Eye was doing terrible and this is their own way of supporting it.

The only use I've had for my PS Eye since I bought it is for LBP.

That may be the case with the first games. But that's not a bad thing. High Velocity Bowling was hands down much better in every respect than Wii Bowling.

Still, from what was shown I only saw the Ping Pong game as a similar game to the one on the Wii. The rest are not there (not counting the boxing game which seemed to be Fight Night).

Either that, or a looping applause track as Nintendo gets upstaged by another company doing the motion control thing. Nintendo's had years to gain a lead, but what if this Move thing really lands strong? Oh yes.

Square Enix supporting this? The only experience they have as far as I know is that Crystal Bearers game for the Wii...

Does Square-Enix support even mean anything? They publish so much random garbage these days it's rare to see a quality title from them anymore outside of their core franchises.

Everyone who's thinkning MOVE is some kind of Wii clobber-er, please keep in mind the entry level cost for this is $400 -- double the Wii now, and significantly more than Wii has ever been. And how much is it going to cost to get more wands and sub-wands? The price-point make the demographic not "casuals" but "hardcore" -- the same hardcore that ignored Sega's, Marvelous', Ubisoft's, etc. hardcore Wii efforts.

I see this being a year or two of Sony rip-offs, HD shovelware, and "Move-compatible" titles; and for Sony another SIXAXIS, EyeToy, HDD, Network Adapter, PSPgo, PocketStation... a distraction that fails to deliver to it's potential.

And it's a shame. I love the Wii games that nail motion control and love my PS3, and pretty confident that beyond the one 'Ape Escape that justified owning a DualShock1', this is going to be more expensive plastic to gather dust.

I dont like the sounds of this move and I hope that the games made by those above retailers will also support normal dualshock controls, cos I wanted a Wii I would of bought one.
