I wish Sierra had let him do the proper sequel. Hell, I wish they still would. I had the unfortunate pleasure of playing all the way through Magna Cum Laude. I think the original text based Softporn Adenture is probably better than that turd

Lowbrow the LSL series may be. But a staple of my naughty gamer childhood, yes indeed. The only game of it's kind, he really needs to get back in to the biz. The cheap knockoffs using the LSL names are an insult to his humor.

If a new Larry game by Al Lowe would be published, it would be a day one purchase.

"Essentially, Larry is captured by "amazonian warrior women" from a distant planet."

So, death by snoo-snoo then?

No death... death would be counter productive toward their plan... just a never ending cycle of milking that may or may not reach near death experiences.

Are you down for that adventure?

You don't need a game to get the Al Lowe humor. He maintains a humor website and an email newsletter.

You have to wonder what is going on when companies keep bringing his ideas back from the dead but refuse to hire Al himself. The guy's too jolly to be that hard to work with!

al is the man, he gave us the same "university humor" of movies like animal house, porkys, revenge of the nerds, but in games. al gave humor to games even before maniac mansion tried the same humor line. I´m sure he was a huge influence and without him probably we wouldn´t have great games like monkey island (remember that sierra started first in the graphic adventure games) and also he was the first one who created an adult only game, something nobody else has tried to do since.....
it´s a shame that nobody is trying to follow his work, in this days only telltale creates games with humor, but is sad to see that the main dude in humor games is being ignored and ripped by jack asses like vivendi and team 17 who doesn´t knows anything about humor, but tried and failed to create a larry game when the real creator is up and ready to give us a great larry .....maybe telltale could do for larry what they did for monkey island? we could only wish....

I would love to see Tell-Tale hire Lowe for an episodic adventure game. Larry or otherwise.

Wasn't Artie Lange supposed to be in the next "Leisure Suit Larry"? Who knows, maybe it was not being able to get this role that finally pushed him over the edge?

Sorry about that. I'm a big fan of Artie and I hope he gets better soon.
