There are very few games that I cheer for, and this is one of them, being the underdog that it was. Those of you that don't have a copy, you're missing out.

Completely agree, any gamer whom likes big explosions, nice game-play, and heck an awesome multi-player experience (sad that nobody plays it now), owes it to themselves to pick this game up.

Maybe their marketing was not good on release or there were better known games that released around it (just think if it had a dead rising release where there was a dry spell of games and most people looking to buy something new saw this)

either way, very glad a sequel is coming out, the technology of destroying everything was soooooo refreshing and every bit worth 60$

I agree, the game can be found cheap at many placed.

My local BestBuy had it on sale for $19.99 recently so I picked up a copy. Well worth the $20 :)

I wonder where my copy of Red Faction Guerrilla is...its been 2-3 weeks since I found a code in a case @ Gamestop, took it, and paid $5 for shipping....$5 shipping should have meant next day delivery dammit

Add me to the "still waiting" list. I'm wondering if they're waiting till the promotion period is over and just shipping them all at once.

More Red Fraction is always a good thing. I loved the destructible environments in Guerrilla. A very underrated multiplayer also if I do say so myself. Reminded me a little of Tribes whenever you got the jet pack.

I hope they improve the enemy unit delivery system (if it has dynamic enemies like Guerilla / Saints Row 2) My biggest gripe with both of those games was how many enemies get dumped on you (often from behind) Not because the enemies are too hard, rather too many of them just watered down the experience. I just felt like I was running and gunning, and never getting into an interesting small skermish

I was concerned at first too when they said they were going back to the roots, but when he said it was still third person and there are going to be tighter bigger cities where one building can smash into another, Im really interested now!!!

I really liked Guerilla but I think from a design perspective the game could benefit from more restrictive (i.e. underground) environments. Though I had the possibility to be more creative, later on I found myself either driving around in a vehicle that can do damage or jetpacking to a high place and firing missles at or sniping targets. The result being alot of the missions felt the same and I did crave a few more epic "story" type missions.

Also I'm looking forward to the return of "Geomod"

Destroying your surroundings while underground is a bad idea.

Unless you have a fetish for being buried alive...

Underground you say? In that case I hope that weapon that could see through walls makes a reappearance.

I loved RF:G, especially the multiplayer. Hell, I still play it with the 10 other people that still play it. Can't wait for this!

Red Faction needs to go back to being and FPS. Also, less radio missions and vehicle missions, cause they both suck.

While paying attention to roots is fine, they had better not screw up the MP. I belong to a group of 12+ people who play RFG biweekly. Yeah, twice a week. Sometimes half the fun is just exploring the incredible multiplayer maps and seeing just where you can go.

I am disappointed, the new game was so much better than those uninspired crapshoots of the past.
Guerilla was the first time I gave a damn.

I don't know what to think of this. The game was so great because you were so free and could destroy anything. Now we're gonna be underground? That doesn't seem like such a great idea. The story in Guerilla was so paltry I wish they'd do the opposite of what the guy said and just keep the mechanics but put them in another setting

I think guerrilla is one of the most underrated games this generation.
