The trailer urges players to take their own country's team to the World Cup, though we should issue a word of warning to those of you in the contiguous United States who choose to bring our fine nation to the top: it's just a game. Okay, okay, sorry -- we were just joshin' ya! We suppose it's possible. Maybe after the robots take over. Maybe.

It's FIFA 10 with a new skin.
EA Montreal have confirmed there are NO changes, not even any tweaks to the game.
So.... EA, like Activision, are money grabbing whores.
Why not just out this as a £7.99/$12.00 DLC option? I bet more people would be interested in that, than a £40/$60 separate entity!

LOL nice try. As much as I would like to see this released as FIFA 10 DLC, they confirmed they have made quite a few changes to the game like chipping the keeper and defensive pressure all the while making the graphics look better and everything else. I'm picking this up especially since I didn't buy FIFA 10

You're an absolute moron. There are plenty of changes to the game. Show me any link where they "confirm there are no changes". There is a whole new penalty system in place which takes into account composure and embraces a completely new mechanic of penalty taking then any other game. There will be managers, new chipping mechanics, better goalkeeper control, "Captain your country" mode, amongst other things.
Hardly "NO changes at all" you inbred moron (as you so politely put it)

I hope they improved the AI.
Fifa 10 AI has to be the worst I've ever had the misfortune to play with on a team.

This is, for all intents and purposes, the "International" version of FIFA 2010. I know, I know, it's different in many ways from the actual FIFA 2010 like the Goalie AI, defensive manouvers, and the attack has been tweaked so it doesn't give perfect passes and so forth, but it's still FIFA 2010--just with a little more time given to cook in the oven.
That's not so bad. What's bad is that we always have to wait 4 years for EA to release a soccer game with all the international FIFA licenses. I couldn't care less for 3rd division british, spanish, italian, or whatever other bogus teams they release every year.

That's why I only buy the WC editions. They're 'unique'.

Here's me getting all beanery but, we did damned well in the Confederations Cup, and beat Spain; the #1 ranked team in the world and one of the favorites to with it all in South Africa. That doesn't automatically make us #1, as we faltered in the second half to Brazil even though we were 2-0 up at the half. Anyway, with major players like Clint Dempsey getting back into health, as well as Landon Donovan doing so well for Everton in the Premier League, there's a Facebook page made by fans begging him to stay, and not return to the MLS. If MLS players choose to strike, he may get to stay much longer.
Anyway, I say watch Mexico's back line, as they'll be tough, and with most of the 2005 U-17 World Cup champions finally reaching their twenties, it'll be there warm up for when El Tri win it all in Rio 2016.
You heard it here first.

EA are getting crazy with these tiniest of changes to the game.
All of these gameplay changes could, and should, have been patched into FIFA10. But nooooooooooo. What do they care, as long as people blindly keep buying the next game, that highlights such enormous ground-breaking strides to the gameplay like how it's not possible to lop the keeper EVERY SINGLE TIME. Embarrassing..

I am pretty sure most of the teams will have their players name like
no 10
no 1
no 5 and so on.
There will be so many glitches which ea will fix it in fifa 11 so more milking of money.. EA always makes disappointing soccer game and I still buy it.
No wonder EA lost UEFA license to Konami
